Went out for a quick dinner and was anxious for Red Robin's turkey sandwich and fries. I wasn't disappointed! That said, the ambiance was terrible and I would not recommend eating at this restaurant site, unless you like the cafeteria scene in Animal House. We got here at 4:45 in the evening on a Sunday. Only about 4 tables had diners and the bar was not too busy. We still had to wait 5 minutes to be seated! The prep area is open to the dining area which is OK, but the staff were shouting at each other the whole time and crashing about with items on the counters. Kitchen staff or dishwashers in typical dirty uniforms walked through the dining room twice with dirty pots and ice buckets. The person busing the tables used a rickety cart that was stacked with tubs and dirty dishes. She pushed the cart through the dining area several times creating quite a disturbance. Looking at the mess on the cart was certainly not appetizing. We paid with cash at the end of the meal. The tab had been simply dropped off on the table without a tray. This normally means you pay at the register, but the server stopped us as we were leaving and told us to pay her. We gave her cash, 2 twenty dollar bills which brought a funny look to her face. She asked twice if we needed change and then went off to the register. She returned some time later apologizing that the restaurant did not have any change! She was gracious and rounded the tab down to an even amount.I'm glad I was with family and not a guest as the restaurant was my suggestion and I had talked it up somewhat. I would have been embarrassed, especially if this had been a date.
Not sure why this was listed on Trip Advisor as Mountain Restaurant. Several dining experiences are available at the Mountain Winery. I'm reviewing the Chateau Deck. The prix fixe of starter, entree, and dessert was delicious. For starters, my husband chose the beet and tofu salad He generally does not like salad, but he ate all of it! I had the prawn caesar salad. The prawns were not only large, but flavorful. My husband had an excellent pork chop while I enjoyed perfectly cooked filet of beef. The desserts were delivered to the suite as the concert was starting just as we finished our entrees. Decadent chocolate mousse and a beautiful berry shortcake were a perfect ending. The service was prompt, efficient, and helpful especially as we were a table of 18. The views of the valley at sunset were spectacular. I enjoyed the pinot noir, and others said the chardonnay was quite good.

This is the second time Iâve been here and the venue is great. They have the option of indoor or outdoor bocce everything is great. If you donât know how to play you can get a quick tutorial. The food is another story. The Italian sodas are reminiscent of 7 up with Kool-aid. The cheese platter was plentiful but the olives were soft and salty. But go for the game.
Saratoga Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Saratoga
Saratoga is brimming with wine bars, but Stilettos carved its niche by its unique offering of wine, high-heeled shoes, and fun events. like Rock Art Nite or Plant Nite. You can build a terrarium or decorate rocks while drinking wine! Sometimes they have live music. The shoes and events might offer a fun night out, but the wine doesnât. I turned back one wine that was badly oxidized (part of a three-wine tasting). Later, another glass of wine was beginning to turn. If a wine bar does not have enough turnover in the wine, this is bound to happen unless they take steps to preserve the wine after opening. Go to Stilettoâs for the events. Drink only the wine that you know has been opened that day.

Not dressed for the Saratoga scene and want a drink? Well this is the place. A wonderfully charming little place to have a drink with friends or make a few new ones. Low on formality, but high on funk and spirit. If the street is full of cars there is parking around back don't be dismayed.

The Blue Door Restaurant & Bar is a chic, contemporary venue for drinks & refined New American meals with a Mediterranean twist. Featuring private dining spaces and patio.
Had lunch on a Monday. Not crowded. Breakfast is served until 2 pm so I had a scramble. I don't usually like breakfast potatoes but these were delicious! My lunch companion really liked the beet salad and lamb sliders. The creme brûlée and chocolate lava cake were beautifully plated and yummy. The coffee was especially good.

Relaxed, lodge-chic chain serving global comfort fare, including stir-fries, pot roast & pastas.
There are few good restaurants in the immediate area and with a hotel and apartments on the same site it gets a lot of pressure. Be sure to call ahead for reservations. Lots of people had their dogs and were ok to sit outside.Food was good but not memorable.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch, after hiking at Montalvo!! We earned our burgers, which were all loaded with various toppings. You can build your own burger, or pick one of the ones from the menu. Make sure you top it off with fries!!! Nice beer and wine choices, reasonably priced. I like the fact that you can order at the counter, find a seat, and they bring you the food. Very good meal.
