Frequenting Chin's on E. Vista Way in Vista - our families' favorite Chinese restaurant - for over 15 years. Our favorites: Kung Pao Chicken: tender chicken chunks with crispy water chestnuts, peanuts in a sweet and spicy sauce; Orange aka Tangerine Chicken (pictured): crispy and lightly breaded chicken pieces glazed with a sweet orange coating; Pork Chop Suey: tender pork slivers with many veggies (broccoli; cabbage; snow peas; mushrooms; carrots; water chestnuts; etc...) in a tasty sauce; Egg Flower Soup: tofu chunks with peas, carrots and egg ribbons in a tasty chicken broth-based soup; Chicken Lo Mein (pictured): very tasty, stir-fried noodles with thin onion and carrot slithers; Egg Rolls: filled with seasoned veggies or chicken with veggies and fried to a golden brown and served with sweet and sour sauce; Hot Tea: jazmine and oolong combined for a flavorful and relaxing drink. All staff are very courteous and friendly. Love the restaurant's decor: rich cherry wood colored plantation shutters and dark, polished tables; wall paper has pink, grey and plum hues. Cost a bit higher than fast food restaurants however food quality, generous portions and ambiance worth extra cost. Highly recommend this restaurant!!! Note: pictures depict entrees after we had started enjoying them.

From the moment we entered the front door and were welcomed by one of the new owners, David, we were treated to a remarkable and wonderful dining experience that lasted through the entire meal. We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome, and given some history about how David and his business partner, the chef, had come to open this restuarant. We were already enjoying ourselves, even before we tasted the food. The experience was exemplary in every way. The flavors of each of our dishes were complex and well-balanced. Absolutely delicious. As we began our meal with the cold appetizer, Organic Chicken in Spicy Sauce, we realized we were in for a rare treat. Each dish we had lived up to that first impression. We are eager to return and try some of the other dishes. Portions were very generous. David is deservedly proud of care taken in creating this gem of a restaurant. Everything has been thoroughly cleaned, re-painted and re-decorated, resulting in a very pleasant space for enjoying the meal. He told us about searching out the top quality ingredients that they use and made helpful suggestions to guide our selections from the menu. They also offer some excellent winesI have eaten great Chinese food in the Bay Area and in New York City. In San Diego County, I have been places that have been okay, but nothing to rave about. Would never have dreamed that this place in a shopping center in Vista would be right up there with the best. But it definitely is.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Extensive menu. Place not very busy but a steady stream of take out customers. Pad thai was pretty standard but it did have plenty of shrimp. Service was friendly. Prices were fair. I can't see me frequenting this place too often.

I didnt even care that much for Asian food but fiancée convinced me to try it once and I was I. Ediarely hooked on Pho Ever. this place is the bomb! Pho is delectable and owner is very nice and accommodating. Prices are reasonable and I have never had anything here I didn't like which is saying a lot for not being a fan of Asian food in general. Now I am a convert and eat here about every 3 weeks. Staff is very good and always make you feel welcome. Love their spring rolls, soups, chicken wings, calimari and everything else!
