We went to Kobe on Saturday of last week. It was our first time there. We had a chef named Derek or Derrick not sure of the spelling. This guy put on a great show and the food was excellent. You can request him if you so desire. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a great meal and a lot of fun this is the place to go. We also learned about a "Sake Bomb" . If you go and drink alcohol, you might try one. Once again, this is a great place to spend a fun time having lunch or dinner.
My son was very sick after a student in his class coughed with his mouth open the first week of May. The cough was so bad I took a detour on Delta Fair Blvd in Antioch's Kaiser pharmacy for severe cough medicine. After purchasing the medication, my son noticed a Vietnamese noodle house advertising a large seafood soup. We decided to stop in for some soup. The people was very nice and willing to talk. It turns out they were in business longer than five years and I never knew they were in the same parking lot as the watch repair shop I visited on a regular basis before they closed down. My son had seafood soup for $9.25 and I had an order of fried rice for $5.95 with a grilled pork chop on the side for an additional $3.00. Overall, my total was about $20 for me and my son to have lunch at the Vietnam noodle house. very good food and I'm glad we gave it a try to be repeat customers.

We've been here several times and have enjoyed the food, and the staff, every time. I've had the pho a couple times and the large is enough for two meals. There are lots of choices for pho as well as a selection of sandwiches and noodle dishes. This last time I tried the spicy version of the curry and it was delicious with lots of flavors. They also can hold the spices, but the spicy version wasn't so hot that it overpowered the other flavors. Everyone of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They have lots of energy and definitely add to the fun experience of eating there.

I spent a significant time in Thailand and am a real Thai food foodie, I love the real stuff! This is excellent Thai food. It is in a strip mall, in a run down area, but is worth the visit.

We were in the area for a family event and went to the Hidden Dragon based upon the collective positive reviews. Don't let the simple exterior fool you....spotless interior that very well presented. Great menu, food quality and service. Highly recommended.

Located in a strip mall on a busy street, you might be tempted to pass Okawa by and search for another eatery. Don't give in to that urge! The service is attentive; the sushi is excellent and the surroundings relaxing (even during a busy lunch). Prices are moderate. For three diners eating sushi, miso soup and beverages, lunch (depending on the amount of your tip) can be about $40 +.
