We wanted to get a few things from the market when we were staying in Scott's Valley. We discovered their deli and hot food buffet. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and their sandwiches were delicious. We ordered sandwiches, potato salad, and coleslaw for our picnic. The rest of the market was very well organized and offered a great variety from which to choose. Staff were very upbeat and helpful. I highly recommend this market.

Mollie's Country Cafe in Scotts Valley, California offers delicious homemade food in a comfortable, family environment.
Mollies is consistently the best breakfast restaurant in the county. We eat there once or twice a month for breakfast. The portions are large and the price is reasonable. Twenty percent discount for seniors! No credit cards but they have an ATM on site. I wish they still served dinner, but they stopped several months ago. I read some people thought the service was bad. Most of their servers are, let's say experienced and have been there for years. We have always had great service. I suspect some complainers have another agenda when posting negative comments. When we travel we always compare other restaurants to Mollies for breakfast. Never have found one as good.

We were surprised to see that Mollys Cafe, down the street had been sold and was closed for remodeling. So we tried HRC. The Huevos Rancheros was good. Served with country potatoes that were a little salty. My wife had eggs and sausage. They don't serve patty sausage so she tried the chicken sausage. Very bland. Her main issue was the bitter coffee. She could not finish one cup. I had ice tea which was good. Noise level was loud. We are going to try Avenue Cafe when it opens and hope its as good as Mollys was.

This restaurant situated at the Hilton was a great experience. We were a group of 10 and ordered everything from crab cakes to spaghetti and meatballs. Really nice food and they are very attentive to you. My daughter said it was the best fries she has ever eaten. Must try the cheesecake if you eat there .

Had a solo meal there this evening, wanted to sit outdoors and Malone's has a very nice patio under an artfully pruned Douglas fir in Scott's Valley. I had arugula salad with prawns, and it was excellent, superbly dressed. Service was gracious and the martini chilled and dry as ordered.

We are new to Scotts Valley, had recommendations from friends and read reviews on TripAdvisor. Were we disappointed?? Absolutely not! Hubby ordered Chicken Fried steak with crispy hash browns, delicious biscuit and tasty homemade gravy. I ordered a patty melt with a side salad. The hamburger was real beef, I could not eat the entire patty melt, which is a first. I reheated the patty melt and it was delicious as my first bite. The swiss cheese was tasty. Service was great. We will head back to Auntie Mame's before we leave the area.
