This new (as of 2016) restaurant caters to the local Mexican population...the menu is 90% in Spanish and has several dishes that I have never heard of. I ordered a Margarita (they never heard of my personal favorite...a Cadillac Margarita) which was good. My wife wanted wine...but they only had "red"...and we still don't know what kind it was! We ordered nachos even thought they were not on the menu...but they made them at our request. The nachos were good...loaded with Mexican cheese. There is a bar area and a separate dining area. When we were there, they only had one person working both the bar and the dining area...fortunately, for her, the place was empty and she could do both. Only street parking is available.

I always like Taco Bell but the hard shell tacos at the Hollister Taco Bell is great. Of course they have lots of other dishes to ask for like their Supreme Burrito. It's fantastic.

Had a late lunch here when traveling the area. Service was fast and efficient. Food was fresh, tasty, and generously portioned. Decor was, oh, colorful. One of the other folks fired up the jukebox, and we were treated to the finest in hispanic music, at 100+ DB until the waitress turned it down. All in all, a good experience. RECOMMENDED!

Were late leaving Pinnacles and drove straight to town looking for dinner. Found La Catrina. Had two great dinners; tasty, fresh ingredients, nice portions. Plus, two great Margaritas. Worth the stop. Nice pace for the meal, not rushed. Good service, too.

We were happy with our choices. Salad was ok, chips and dip were good and frequently refilled. No horchata, but iced tea was excellent. The first choice my companion made wasn't available, but she was ok with her second choice. Seems like fairly standard fare with some signature breakfast dishes...The place was pretty crowded for Saturday lunch, but there was parking close by. Service was prompt and requests were fulfilled with a smile.
