Mediterranean style food along the lines of Chipotle â simple, casual, order at counter, fresh items. This is not authentic Mediterranean but we found it an enjoyable change. Cost about $10 and just under. Portions were a good size, ingredients tasty. -select âmeatâ: falafel, chicken or steak shawarma, shawafel (falafel and shawarma) or pomegranate chicken with curry flavors-format: wrap, pita, salad bowl or rice bowl-veggies: greens, arugula, roasted cauliflower, eggplant ragout, garbanzo beans, tomato and cucumber mix, sumac onion, pickled cabbage, pickles, beets, peppers (feta and avocado are extra cost)- sauce: tahini, hummus, tzatziki, garlic cream, cilantro, hot sauceOrders are served with a small cup of lentil soup. Like that in addition to soda, there are mint lemonade, Ming Yogurt and tamarind to drinkWe enjoyed the mix of flavors. Iâm tired of going out and being bored, having something that I can get anywhere or I can easily make at home. Plenty of parking inside the shopping area. Some outside seating with shade.

This restaurant has only been open 5 weeks and we only discovered it by searching all the way through page 6 of a Google search! What a gem. It has a modern decor which is relaxing but it is not so "industrial-looking" that it would feel sterile. It was about half full the weeknight we visited. You can carry on a conversation as the acoustics are pretty good - unlike so many other restaurants these days that are too loud. The service was excellent. We had a question about the ingredients in one dish and the server went to the kitchen to get an accurate description for us. Everything is freshly made in this restaurant and you can tell - nothing is too salty which is common in many other restaurants these days. Everything we ordered was excellent. Our appetizer was Mast Moosir, a garlic yogurt. Delicious!! I would have preferred a whole grain pita bread on which to eat it but at least the white bread was fresh. My husband ordered the Zereshk Polo with Chicklen, seasoned chicken with barberries and rice. It also included a nice side salad on the same plate. I ordered the Salmon Kabob. The salmon was moist and tender and delicious. The plate also included the salad, rice and some grilled tomatoes. Additionally, I ordered a veggie kabob as a side. It was only $3 and the server even asked me what kind of vegetables I would like on it. :-)Our suggestion would be to offer brown basmati or jasmine rice for a healthier dinner. (The "white meal" - white rice, white flour, white sugar - is now known to contribute to many health issues.) We will definitely return. There are a number of other dishes we still want to try.

We went to DishDash for my dad's birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We started with hummus with grilled chicken and stuffed grape leaves. The hummus was excellent. It was smooth with good flavor and the chicken made it even better. The pita bread here is delicious. It's fresh and doughy. The grape leaves were the best I've ever had. These have a lot of seasoning and texture. Others I've had are bland. I had Makloubeh for my entree and my husband had Shish Kabob. This is the first time I've had the Makloubeh. I liked it but prefer stronger flavors. It was quite mild. The chicken was moist and the sauce was pretty good. Everyone in our group who had beef or lamb said it was excellent.

Went here on the 13th of October for the first time and had a late lunch of Spanikopita, Lamb Kebobs, Moussaka and Baklava for dessert. The Spanikopita was very good, fresh and loaded with feta cheese. The lamb kebobs were cooked perfectly medium rare as requested served with rice, zucchini and peppers. The moussaka was good, but a bit underseasoned. It was served with rice and veggies also. Pita bread is served warm on your table. The best part of the meal was the baklava served for dessert. It was 4 nice sized pieces and we ate all of it! Service was very good, but it was a very slow time of day, around 2PM. We sat outside and it was lovely. We will go again for sure.

We've dined at Ephesus a LOT of times. And return again and again because the Turkish food is great. (We also dine at sister property around the corner). However, on our recent visit the service was horrible so it kind of ruined our experience. Not sure how soon I'll give it another try ... if ever as there are so many great restaurants in the Bay Area. What a shame to take a great meal and ruin it ... because of lazy server that never even checked back with us.

This is my go-to for eggplant/babaganush. I was taking some to a potluck and if you buy 3, the 4th container is free. ($6/each). Included in one heavenly homemade pita bread. There are other types of eggplants dishes and of course delicious but the babaganush is my favorite, Smokey, creamy, garlicky.....whatâs not to love!Thank you Marcia! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We hope to see you again soon.

The outdoor seating looked very inviting but we chose to sit indoor for more privacy and it was very nice too. Service was attentive and fast. Street parking is available but could be problematic depending on the time of day. We came for lunch on Sunday and we found parking about two blocks away. The tapas here are very good but on the pricey side. Even the complimentary bread and dipping sauce was very good too.
