Although Higoâs is what i would consider a healthy choice, that doesnât equal tasteless or boring food. On the contrary, Hugoâs has perfected the art of healthy cuisine, making things typically bland (such as tofu) flavorful and interesting. I usually order the green casserole with a spinach lemonade. While some might consider the meal something right out of a Dr. Seuss book. The green casserole is made up of all kinds of greens, chopped up and mixed with flavorful herbs and garlic, topped with a veggie patty and cheese (a vegan version without the cheese can be ordered but Iâm not that healthy). The spinach lemonade sounds weird, is very green in color but tastes like a richer version of lemonade. Iâve had the cauliflower pakora several times as well. Hugoâs is great because it has a variety of items that cross the super vegan bridge to an organic beef hamburger.

Fresh & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner & catering, we're dedicated to keeping you happy in your Corner of the world.
My wife and I were staying at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn. We know this place as we used to live in Calabasas before we moved to Arizona and have family here so in we went. Internet is available...inside and patio seating...dog friendly(which we are not)on the patio...and very good food. We did the breakfast sandwiches and sat outside at a nice warm table. You could walk here from the Hilton...located at the far end of the Commons but it is a bit of a walk. Easy parking if you drive over.
Simple but hearty menu and kombucha on tap. What is there not to like? This is a great place to stop by after hiking the Topanga or Malibu State parks. And you can sit outside and watch the locals do their thing.

I am sorry it took so long to review one of the most unique and enjoyable restaurants I have ever been. The atmosphere is to die for. Tables are surrounded by trees, plants, rock formations. Hanging lights everywhere. Great wine list, easy going and mannered staff with food that is just wonderful. If I lived in California I would frequent this restaurant. Just plain wonderful

We had been at Whole Foods at Malibu for general purchase around lunch time and were amazed by the great buffet we could have there!Amazing options on salads and some other cooked selections as well made for a nice fresh and healthy lunch! It is a place where you pick your choice out of a buffet and pay a standard rate per pound of food picked irrespective of the items picked from the buffet. While this makes for a reasonably priced meal, what made it great was the options available and the really fresh salads!Sitting is a bit basic but goes well with the overall ambience. There are separate counters for other options as well to order from beyond the buffet and a good bakery section to chose desserts from.A great place for a fresh light lunch!

I LOVE â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ Brussels sprouts. Thank you Kristyâs Cafe for such a wonderful breakfast.Thereâs a nice patio outside but a bit chilly the morning I went. It was fairly quiet when I went for breakfast but a nice space which was recently remodeled to have a bar.

What a pleasant surprise. The cauliflower crust 'Pizza' was interesting and tasty. The skirt steak was exceptional, however the spaghetti squash was a looser. Vegan pumpkin ice cream, well, it was vegan ice cream. Service was good and in a nice restaurant setting. Wine list contains some inexpensive and interesting wines.
