The restaurant was packed with clients at 7pm. Mainly regulars ordering their specials for the day, hamachi Kama (yellow tail cheeks), sashimisâ and Omakase (10 pieces of nigiri sushi) recommended by the Chef. Tempura and special sushi rolls also popular. My Wife chose the beef teriyaki combo with spicy tuna roll. It tasted spicy! Price was mid range and the environment small but functional! Service was quick and attentive.

Taikosho is a fusion Japanese restaurant offering appetizers and entrees with a variety of fresh fish, shrimp, lobster and more. â Additionally we have an array of beers, wines and sakes to accompany your meals. We also offer fresh brewed tea.
We had a vegetarian roll, a spinach side dish with some delectable sauces, a great duck appetizer, and our favorite tempura. Everything was freshly made and sparkling with creative presentation. Yum! This is a great location, a stoneâs throw from the transit center with BART and Caltrain.

This small, family run Japanese restaurant rated 4 stars for its service, great selection of sushi, and drinks. I came early on a Thursday evening and found a spot at the sushi bar. (Note â They do have a $25 / person minimum at the sushi barâ¦.otherwise you are welcome to sit at one of the tables.)I recommend the House Special Roll (Price $18) that has a mixture of fish and roe. The sushi and sashimi was excellent with not too much rice on the nigiri. Sushi Kei is definitely worth a second and third trip. I would have been back for a second trip on Saturday, but the restaurant was full â which should tell you how good it is.

Wonderful, authentic sushi. A warm, welcoming staff and small, meticulous space. (Not great parking but el Camino will do). Excellent sushi, wonderful hamachi Kama and chicken karage and tempura. Great wakame salad and edamame. Itâs a very special place. Pricey but totally worth it.

Stopped for quick lunch on the way to the airport. Beautiful inside and service is great. Menu is extensive with sashimi, special rolls, donburi, udon, hand rolls etc. Good sake selection too. Albacore sashimi, spicy salmon hand roll, soft shell crab roll and mixed sashimi roll were just all delicious and beautifully presented. Tea and salad and soup come with some choices. Prices are very reasonable. This will be our new favorite restaurant, for sure

Zen Bistro is a quiet, modern and comfortable place to enjoy very good Japanese food. The menu offers a wide range of tasty options. On this visit I had katsudon, which was well prepared. Street parking is limited, but there is a good sized public lot to the back (east) side of the restaurant.
