This is a good location, in that it was out of the way of the "limelight" of the area. This is definitely geared towards a local, rather than transit/tourist/visitor, crowd. The staff was friendly, and the menu was extensive. There is a wood / "rustic" theme inside. The food was good, but nothing great. My steak had good flavor, but it didn't seem like it was a great cut of meat. The price seemed reasonable, though.

Porter's Steaks and Chops are of the highest quality, locally-sourced, USDA Prime. Our meats are prepared on our 1600 degrees broiler, ensuring juiciness, tenderness and flavor. Service that is relaxed and attentive. A wine list with world class selection
Nice quiet Steakhouse inside the DoubleTree. It was saturday night so the music from the lounge next door was loud, but otherwise the steakhouse was quite empty. It's a little upscale place. Service was very good and attentive.I didn't feel like eating steak so i ordered the Scallops as an entree. The entire entree was excellent, though for the price (~$40 for scallops entree), I wanted the scallops themselves to be fantastic - they were very good but not 5/5 on my scale. The other items on the entree were great. But overall nothing to complain - good, service was good and hit the spot.

This restaurant is great for the family that loves to eat meat! Great steak selection plus prime rib which is difficult to find the way we like it (medium-rare) The sizes on the food portions is very large and you also get two sides with your entree , the bread they bring before dinner is a delicious wheat loaf that is so good even the kids enjoy Usually we come here for birthday celebrations, we love the appetizers, the blooming onion is a must, even the little kids love it!Fun thing about this place that most people donât know is that they let you bring your own wine bottles and there is NO corkage fee what?! Is true só for a large party we save a bundle on the alcohol! My husband end up always ordering a beer from the bar before dinner anyway, he loves ausies beers... Deserts are great at this place as well...Enjoy!!!

The menu has changed, but the ambiance and quality of food and service still excellent. My husband and I like to guess who is singing that song on the sound system. They are attentive without being obtrusive and very classically trained waitstaff. Remember to order the souffle with your entree so it will be ready on time. The Sycamore Special dessert is a very special treat as well.
