My wife and I stopped here for dinner after a day at the nearby Discovery Kingdom theme park. The restaurant was pretty busy although they managed to find a table for us straight away. I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken which was tasty, and we shared a large dessert. Service was friendly. You can check and pay for the bill via the screens on the table, although we paid in the more traditional way. There is ample parking outside. All in all a tasty meal at reasonable prices.

we fell into this joint based on my pal's love of the coffee served at the other establishment in the ferry building. they have a full range of beers & ales brewed on mare island just across the river. we enjoyed our lunch and plan to go back.one very cool thing is the beer table menu, which is a small booklet between aluminum boards that gives the titles of brews named after persons or events associated with the navy or the island. each page is very interesting and often amusing, giving some of the history of this much-overlooked but famous naval base built in the 20s & 30s.i go there when i feel like a 'treat' lunch - something a little more expensive than the norm, something conceived and prepared with the idea of 'luncheon' rather than fast food...

Stopped by for a quick bite prior to a meeting. I realize this is a hotel - but $18.00 for two fish tacos, each had 1 piece(small) fried fish, avocado and cabbage on top. No rice, beans, nothing else. We also had the arugula salad $16. A tiny bit of chopped tomato, feta, sliced red onion on the bottom, a handful of arugula on top. It looked like a plate full of greens, no creativity. Maybe we choose unwisely. Burgers & fries at the other tables looked good. The Runway opened after the old restaurant closed, so we stopped in for dinner to check it out. We were hoping for steaks, but they were too expensive to take a risk on, so we settled for two Blue Cheese Burgers. We ordered sweet potato fries and onion rings for the sides and shared. The burgers were cooked well and tasted delicious. The fries were perfect and plentiful. The onion rings were few, tepid, and over cooked. We both ordered a glass of Zinfandel which was good. It is January, but the restaurant was cold, with a fire at the far end. Dinner for both of us was about the price of one Filet Mignon dinner would have been.--Yikes! We will probably return in warmer weather and give it another try--the location is great!

Went in to grab a sandwich for lunch on the golf course. A couple came in after me and were served lunch while waited. Another group.... same thing. By the time I got an overpriced veggie sandwich 45 minutes had passed! The sandwich wasn't good enough to justify the cost or the wait. I suspect this cafe has cost the golf course a lot of money.

3-6 is Happy Hour at Junction Brewery. We enjoyed beer and starters at reduced prices. The house brews are average, but it's happy hour and why not try them? We enjoyed the fries, calamari and wings as well. The bar and dining room are separated and we ended up in the dining room. Definitely a place to come back to.
