A friend - a very particular friend with definite likes and dislikes! - recommended Open Kitchen to me, so I tried it yesterday. For $8, I got a large servicing of broccoli chicken, a separate container of steamed rice (fried was an option), a mini-vege egg roll, and a contained of egg-drop soup! It was all nicely packed and wrapped. I stuck it in my insulted grocery bag, and it was still piping hot about 30 minutes later. And it was delicious! Not greasy, fresh tasting, plus I couldn't eat it all at one sitting! You can see all the food being prepared, and they make YOUR order while you wait. No steam tables - they COOK it in the open kitchen while you wait. Nice! I'll be back.

Having early lunch on Saturday, we ordered 3 dishes. Cold cut beef, fried minced pork with long beans and pork. This family restaurant serves authentic Shanghainese food with competitive price in Redlands. The family style makes you feel you are eating at home. We shall return.

Thank goodness the food wasn't as bad as the service........Food wasn't bad but nothing special. Waitress spoke almost no english and was afraid to ask the chef/boss/owner? about a menu substitution. Took three requests to get a glass of water.......for what we paid, the value wasn't there.

For a take-out restaurant whose set up reminds one of Panda Express, the food is surprisingly good and very reasonably priced. There is some seating available inside but it appears most people are carry out customers.

They have good food. Used the app to purchase food and when we had someone go to pick it up they didn't have it ready. They hadn't checked the computer. Outside of that the food is good. Miss the egg in the fried rice though. The corn is just not the same.

It is hard to find a authentic Asian vegetarian restaurant. This is a great place to experience it. The food is made so close to the real meat and taste really good too. Simple family restaurant and I highly recommend it. The food is cook with no onion or garlic.
