My family and I recently wanted a quick dinner before watching the fireworks in Disneyland, so we decided to try this place. To be honest, it is more a cafeteria, than a restaurant. You basically wait in a (long) line, grab a tray, order at the counter, then pay at the end of the line and go find a table to sit at. It can get quite busy so if you can, you probably should get a member of your party to nab a table while you go join the queue. We had the beef stew in a bread bowl and the jambalaya. The beef stew was good but the jambalaya was so so (and the portions were on the small side). The orange Fanta drink I had was sooo watered down, it pretty much tasted like water - not impressed!Sorry to say this, but I don't think I will be eating here again.

Itâs been 2 years since my last visit and the food was still wonderful. You have to start with an appetizer of Pommes Frites. I usually donât order appetizers but itâs a must. (Ask for extra dipping sauce). If you order the Monte Cristo, you need an appetite. I would recommend splitting this with someone. It comes with a total of 4 halfâs and itâs a big dish. The side is grapes. My son (14) had the shrimp and grits. He has never had grits and he loved the dish. He said it was a perfect balance of shrimp and grits. The other dish was the Bourbon Street Chicken The marinade was different than we have ever tasted. Side note: the Mint Julep drink was a taste of freshness. We all loved it. Please know, you have to make reservations, so donât wait or you will miss out in one of Disneylandâs hidden gems of a restaurant. Check the menu if all items will agree with little ones. Enjoy

Classic Disney restaurant, that once was worth the splurge. My husband spent 45 minutes on hold to make reservations after trying to use the online for 30. Yes, we wanted to make our daughter's birthday special. The lady he finally reached was very helpful. We were greeted by Joe grump and his assistant, and told to wait to be called. Too bad Disney can't afford enough chairs in the waiting area for all..I can not compliment the wait staff enough. Very professional. The food however, sad. Surf & turf. Over salted /cooked lobster. Who ever grew the beef knew what they were doing. To bad the chef slathered it in over peppered, out of the can sauce. Very under cooked green beans. And though potato casserole. I think, scalloped? Nobody ate more more than one bite. We all enjoyed the deserts offered. The tea drinkers were impressed with their tea.Would I return? I don't know.

Stopped in after our Disneyland day Monday 9:00 pm and glad we did. Mimiâs was across the street from where we were staying. Food was very good with quick service and waitress always smiling. The prices were very reasonable. We asked if we could buy some buns to make lunches for the next day Disney Trip with family. Couldnât believe they said no problem with a smile. They give us butter packets and plastic knivesWould love if they were in Canada! Would recommend Mimiâs at anytime of day!

Surprised with the food. Usually most tourist place like downtown Disney, the food is usually ok. But their food was actually good. Hamburger that my son had was juicy and tasteful. It was accompanied by Cajun fries. I persons enjoyed my Cajun wings- delicious, it could be a little bit more spicier. My wife who went Tulane- enjoyed her gumbo- a bowl is big FYI. Calamari for starter was good- gave you two dipping sauce. Make room for beignets- itâs not as good as cafe du monde but good enough. Great service. Great atmosphere.
