5 friends dined here for lunch. Delicious menu with nutritional info listed. Salads are excellent as always, as are the broth and divine popovers. However, service has fallen off drastically. There were only 2 servers for a packed noon mid week. Our server was practically running to take care of all his tables, and the service suffered for lack of adequate staff. Hopefully, theyâll get that rectified & this will once again be a go-to place for a lovely lunch.

Denica's Kitchen serves up made-to-order omelettes full of veggies (Pesto Florentine or Veggie) that makes this veggie omelette lover wish every breakfast place did. Pesto Florentine was full of spinach and cheese. And the side potatoes were perfectly crisp & browned, and there were plenty of them. Then there are pancakes, french toast, and baked goods like turnovers and cookies, oh my! My husband enjoyed his oatmeal with chocolate chips cookie. Also, there's free thick-cut nachos and freshly-made salsas, just grab and eat as much as you like. You grab your own coffee, water, and iced tea (as well as free refills). This is a neighborhood place with plenty of booth seating, and has a nice feel. There's even a separate kids area, with toys and shrieking behind their own walls. A nice way to spend a weekend morning. Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, JenTravels808. It sounds like you have tried out a variety of items off our food menu and I am glad to hear you enjoy dining with us. I hope to see you again soon. With Love, Denica (Owner)

Utter malaise. Drank ok coffee one morning at Caffe La Scala then lunch with a buddy some beastly hot summer afternoon, walked away both times with no real highlights except the Texas strength, muscular iced tea. Low lights were more middle-of-the-road lights: ok salad; ok coffee, utterly indifferent service (counter ordering and server totes to your table). Like a slowly shrinking number of Walnut Creek eateries, fine-ish, pricey for what it is.

You can't go wrong with a meal at Nordstrom's. Be prepared to line up to place your order but overall the wait is acceptable.Food quality is very good. So is the menu selection whether it be for lunch or breakfast. It is a combination of self-service (ordering at desk) and waiter/waitress. This works well

The only reason I donât give this one five bubbles is because of the prices. Some may think it a bit on the pricey side and I would agree, however, to me it was well worth it. A cozy, neighborhood vibe is what this place exudes. Outdoor seating, cute decor, friendly staff, and delicious food all served to bring us back several times during our week-long stay in the area. If latteâs are your thing, they have a wonderful hazelnut latteâ. I ordered it every time. Their club omelette is wonderful as are their home style potatoes that come with it. Heavenly Bistro is a local favorite and as I said before, we visited for breakfast several times in spite of having free breakfast at our hotel. I highly recommend this lovely little eatery.

This a really great breakfast and lunch bistro and weekend brunch is also served. The breakfast menu is extensive and just about everything is really great. The menu includes a variety of omelets and scrambles, pancakes, and Mexican entrees. For lunch add sandwiches, salads, and soups. The bistro bakes its own pastries and pies which are topnotch. The pies are excellent. Sunrise is very popular due the quality of food and service and there might be a short wait on the weekend, but line moves quickly. The servers are very helpful and efficient. It is located in a strip mall with a large parking lot.
