a limited breakfast menu was included for guests of the Aladdin Motel. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was friendly, if a bit slow. The food was good, especially the strawberry jam. They did not skimp with back either.

Clean and well appointed, this place seems very popular with the locals. I found the prices good, the food good, and generous portions. Had a tasty avocado and bacon omelet. Home style hash browns, fully buttered sourdough toast. This is a family business, very friendly was my experience. Especially appreciated their being open Easter Sunday, as a traveler. Open 7-2, T-Sun.

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. Finally we were able to get a table with only a 15 minute wait. The service was great. We were checked on frequently and the coffee and beverages were constantly filled. The food tasted like everything was made from scratch and tasted really good. The biscuits and gravy were close to like Grandma used to make.My wife enjoyed her Chili verde omelette and the way it was prepared. It was the best sheâs ever had.We will be back and probably wonât mind waiting.Bring cash. They donât accept any other form of payment.

The nugget has an amazing breakfast with a relaxed atmosphere. Usually a quiet setting, the restaurant is decorated like a farmhouse. The owner is one of the nicest people I have met and is on top of her game with service. I highly recommend this local gem across from columbia state park on Parrotts ferry road. Be ready to enjoy a simple, delicious breakfast!

My (old) high school friend and I had a wonderful lunch at Kate's just before the play Ripcord, being performed at the Fallon Theater. As noted in the other reviews, always make a reservation! It takes about 1.5 hours to get there from Turlock. Our wonderful waitress was Michelle, with 2 'Ls', and she took great care of us. I had the trio sandwich, which I usually do, and their wonderful navy bean soup. My friend chose the turkey sandwich and managed to eat most of it! She loved the lavender iced tea.Kate's has never failed to please.....from their fantastic scones and bread pudding to their soups and homemade bread! The chicken pot pie really is one of the best around.Although my favorite window table had already been booked, our table was fine. It is 'tight' in there but all was good. Plus there is a back room dining area and outside patio which is nice when it is on the cooler side and not 100'!!!Enjoy your lunch! Be nice to Michelle, ha.
