The folks who own/run the Sweetwater know how to please a communitity. They host the unknown talented musicians, the upmand coming as well as the old time famous musicians of great honor. The hall itself has a cool stage, cocktail tables with chairs, side booth style seats and lots of standing room at the bar and in the hall. No matter where you end up it's a small hall so the acoustics will be awesome. If your traveling to Mill Valley get on the website of the Sweetwater and bookmyour trip around the available tickets to a show of interest. It's well worth it if you are a musician and know the powerful history of the Sweetwater Cafe who gave a venue to many musicians who are rock stars today.

The beer was memorable. Years ago I had a very tasty rye IPA. That beer was no longer on the menu but the âAnimalâ was almost as good. Hoppy but well balanced with malt. Dinner ranged from adequate to delicious. High points were the roast carrots and the pasta with pork belly. The burger was OK but not exceptional. Service was attentive and helpful.

As British people visiting USA it may sound odd to seek out a British pub, but this place was a great find. The surroundings are pretty quintessentially English though the decor inside was maybe a bit OTT. However the selection of beers/ales/ciders was great and the food we chose was absolutely amazing. On the whole the menu supplied good traditional British fare. The portion size was sensible too. Probably the best Shepherdâs Pie Iâve ever had - stuffed with meat and veg and a wonderful cheesy mash topping. The service was also very good.

Melancholic, Dilapidated, Unclean, and Horrifically Over Priced Hotel/InnThe wear and tear, filth, tattered rugs, the bathroom floor dirty, baseboards, heater and door were covered with filth. It was so dusty we were sneezing and coughing. There is no Air Conditioning but with windows open and box fan we were able to tolerate the night. We paid over 400 dollars for the night and could have stayed at many of the great 4-5 star hotels in San Francisco for less. It was so bad that even my husband slept in his clothes on top of the duvet. We got up at 5 am and just left. This Inn has location which is great for Muir Woods and hiking. It has the views which are so beautiful. It could be so special in this great location but unfortunately its not. Paint, Flooring, Soap and a little scrubbing could do so much for it. Neglect and lack of care by employees or owners is evident. Parking is a problem only 6 spots for the restaurant and registers guest. I love hiking, SFO, and this area so much I really wanted this place to be good so I could return for another stay when hiking in Muir. There are other Hotels and Inns nearby that are nice with a much lower price point. Believe the reviews, I didn't and it was a mistake.

We really only had 2 choices at Stinson Beach and we made the right choice! Nice sunny out door deck. Advertised huge mussels which got us in the door. I wouldnât have called them huge but the broth was very good for soaking up the bread. They didnât offer much bread but it was fresh out and of the oven and the server brought more when asked. My fish and chips were done nicely in beer batter and the fish fresh.
