Traveling on business the hotel recommended this Bar & Grill. It was a very good suggestion. This is a casino and restaurant, but don't let that stop you from having dinner here. The outside of the building is a western them and pretty cool looking. The inside is the same and very clean. The service is very personal and quick to help in any way. The food from the appetizers to the entrée were perfect, and that in not an exaggeration. The cost for dinner and drinks are more than reasonable. Truth be told I was shocked at the low cost of my dinner and cocktails. All that being said, I don't think this is a family style restaurant, so if you have young ones in your group you may want to pass unfortunately. I will put this on my hot spot to visit anytime I am in the area.

Finding this bar and restaurant inside the Springhill Suites was a welcome surprise, since there are only a handful of finer dining/drinking establishments in Atascadero. My husband and I went on a hot early evening to enjoy a glass of wine. We sat outside in the sun. The pool is adjacent, and loud with kids splashing around, but it was still a lovely experience. As an alternative, there is indoor seating.Our server came promptly with a menu. He was courteous and helpful when we asked about the wines. The wine list is small but offers great variety, including local and international wines. Beer and cocktails are available, too. We ordered a delicious mushroom toast appetizer that came shortly after our glasses of wine. Portions were generous. We enjoyed everything so much that we stayed for another glass!

The food was fine, but our server was too attentive. We needed more time to sit and enjoy our meal and not be asked constantly if everything was all right. A little more balance would have been better. Portions are good sized.....we ordered 5 to share for our late lunch. There was plenty to go around.

Have been here several times with friends and family. Worst chicken fried steak ever several months ago. Separated breading with liver flavored meat inside.This trip canned soup, canned mushrooms, small chunks of ? beef was called Stroganoff with Portabellos. Service friendly, well intensioned, but left others with salads lacking enough dressing to cover. In fact one party member had to, speak up as waitress leaving without her order. Drink orders mixed up with wrong items, another waitress searching for who ordered the wine she was carrying.

Great place to dive into for a beer and some good American food. The regular beers on tap encompass a decent range of styles, and are augmented by rotating taps to add even more variety. Watch out for the âtulipâ pours on stronger ales, which give you a smaller volume for the money. Happy Hour features $2 off draft beers and appetizers; we love the sliders (pulled pork or beef with blue cheese and grilled onions) for a tasty snack. And make sure you try the onion rings -the best!
