It may sound funny but this place is known for great donuts and their crushed ice! They make great iced tea too! Maple bars, old fashioned etc - all good!

I'm not a big diner of food chains but this particular KFC was really great and opened late. The food was hot and fresh compared to other KFCs that I have visited.

My husband and I had an okay dinner here, but the music was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a conversation. And it was hard to find a table away from the speakers. The place wasn't crowded, and I can't imagine what it would be like when it is full. Given the size of the interior and also of the patio, it seems like a party kind of place. We started with the guacamole, which was decent, then each had an entree salad. The best part was the local brew. We stayed a second night in Brawley but decided to find a different place for dinner.

We stopped at Brownie's on our way out to the sand dunes for Sunday lunch. We had the Taco Salad and the Brownie's Burger. Both were generous sized meals and well prepared. The interior décor added to our enjoyment of the meal, as it reminded us of some of the places of our younger days. There is lots of seating, so you can probably always find a table available, and parking is close by.
