Onnyâs Thai Food Restaurant is now open in San Marcos California. Conveniently located on San Marcos Blvd at the corner of Rancho Santa Fe Blvd across from San Marcos High School, Onnyâs Thai Food is simply the best Thai food in town. With the experience
I stopped in to check it out and order. The food was ok, I am not a Thai expert so maybe it's awesome to others. The woman, presumably the owner, was taking orders and was very friendly and pleasant. I'm guessing it was her husband sitting nearby barking orders, yet refusing to get off his duff and help her. That turned me off from going back.

This review is so incredibly overdue, but my boyfriend and I went on vacation in San Diego memorial day weekend. On the last night of our stay we were hungry and asked the staff at our resort for recommendations for dinner. We love Thai food! so when it was recommended for us to eat here. We went sorta late on a Sunday night, and there wasn't hardly any other patrons there. Arriving at the restaurant I was impressed by the decorations and design of the restaurant. I loved that I was able to choose my spicy level. My boyfriend is a little more picky eater and he loved the honey chicken.Drinks were really good here & the restaurant was very kid friendly I was also made aware of their live band during happy hour.Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Visited with family on a Sunday afternoon. Interior decor seemed nice.....but strange that on one of the potted plants, the actual pot was wrapped in aluminum foil. Looked kind of tacky? Otherwise cute inside. We started with the fried spring rolls which were good and served with a peanut sauce. Also tried the chicken wings which seemed to be stuffed with something...not sure what? mystery meat? or????? Would not order that again. The curries we ordered where really good. Son had the yellow curry with chicken which had potatos in it. Very tasty. The panang curry with chicken was also good. My mother ordered a fried white fish dish that was really dry. Overcooked.Service was great and wait staff was very nice.

The food was fresh and good, and the proprietress a bit of a character. A pleasant meal, and reasonably priced.
