Artesia was incorporated on May 29, 1959 and is one of Los Angeles County's Gateway Cities. The city has a 2010 census population of 16,522. Artesia is surrounded on the west, south, and east sides by Cerritos, with Norwalk to the north. Artesia is the home of the East West Ice Palace, an ice rink which is co-owned by Michelle Kwan. It was also the childhood home of former First Lady Pat Nixon, who lived there from 1914 to 1931, though the property on which she grew up is now part of neighboring Cerritos.

I've been meaning to stop here ever since it opened 10 months ago and now regret the delay. I asked for their very best, and the first they pointed to was the Pad Thai. It's great! Could well be the best I've ever tasted. $7 more than filled me. The friendly, helpful, kind service also stands out. I'll be back with the family!

One of the best authentic Thai food in So Cal is Sweetee Thai. Clean place, friendly service, smiling english-speaking servers, ample delicious food in each serving, quality poured, wide variety of choices, packed place, family friendly ambiance (this is not the strip-mall type!), not expensive at all. Delicious Panang Curry, Cashew Chicken, Fried Rice with Chicken! If you tell them to make it spicy, you will get it rocking tasty food! I loved it!

The man at the counter was very helpful and informative. I had never eaten Thai before and I was ready for an adventure. I asked for the spicy Prik King (sambal). It was amazing! If I come back to the area I will stop here again.

This is a very unassuming restaurant.....limited seating....seems like they do a lot of carry-out business.There were 7 of us and everyone was very happy with their meal and service.Reason for a 4 rating instead of 5......bathroom floor was very sticky, dirty.Would return when in the area.....good selection on the menu and tasty food.
