Market Broiler rose from the tradition of California seafood landmarks dating back to the 1950's. It's a casual, comfortable, moderately-priced, full-service, restaurant where fresh fish and seafood are prepared over mesquite charcoal flames.Key to its pr
This place has been here for the longest time. It is large and quite airy inside. The menu is quite extensive with daily specials. I chose fish and chips as it is easy to compare the same dish in different restaurants. The price was fair for 3 pieces of freshly battered fish. I found the batter too crispy and the fish greasy. The fries were good and the coleslaw was nothing special. The wedge salad is one of my favorites as it is refreshing with great flavor. There were a lot of battered fried onions on the top that in my opinion took away the freshness of it. The coffee was weak . I had to ask for a refill and at $3.50 that did not sit well with me. I am very disappointed as I have read great things about this place. I will go back to check it out again but not for a while.

Fresh, friendly and fantastic. After a number of recommendations I finally found myself at Sushi Station on Van Buren at Wood tucked near Delias Grinders and Massage Envy. Warmly decorated with a small sushi bar the specials immediately grabbed my attention. Fresh Blue Fin, Live Sweet Shrimp, Oysters, this place was already standing out. The yellow tail sashimi was clean, well cut and well presented. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was visually powerful and offered a nice balance of texture and flavor but was a bit cumbersome for use with chopsticks. The blue crab hand roll was a clean and sweet of blue crab as I have tasted. Personal preference would have been soy paper for this particular roll but that does not detract how simple and perfect this roll tasted. The tsunami roll was my personal favorite. A great combination of flavor and texture and the two timer roll with jalapeño and seared Ono made for a nice finish. Check Facebook or Yelp as they sometime have specials. On this particular night we enjoyed a complimentary hot sake. There is a lot of completion for sushi in the IE but Sushi Station is certainly making a case for being the best. *Note, this is not AYCE.

This Red lobster has certainly turned itself around. Years ago it was kind of bland, but now its great. We came for the crab fest dinners and they were delicious. Husband ordered salmon and crab cakes and I had crab and lobster. All were delicious. Also had a sirloin steak.. Servers were friendly and attentive. There was one mistake with the order and they went above and beyond to correct it. We would go there more often but we are trying to eat healthier. Just have to make healthier choices when we go....but its tough when everything looks delicious.

There really isn't much to this restaurant. Decor needs updating in a major way. The sushi is average but they do have a few rolls that stand out. It gets pretty crowded at lunch during weekdays because it's the only sushi restaurant around and a lot of the office people that work around downtown Riverside goes there.
Found this place a few weeks ago by accident as we intended to eat at Koreana Grill besides it but decided to try Star Crabs instead. It was awesome back then so we invited more family members to share the awesome experience. Called in ahead to reserve a long table for our party of 12 but called some more family so we grew to 15 people. Ordered fresh oysters as appetizers, 2 sets Snow Star with Garlic Butter and another with Lemon Pepper at $70 a piece, 2 orders of extra shrimps and crabs which was more than enough to feed our big party. Added 3 pitchers of beer@ $9/pitcher at happy hour to enhance the experience. The place was about 80% full but service was quick and our server took care of us just fine. This is truly a gem of a find here in Riverside.
