The setting is charming, the wine list short because itâs perfect, the food is creative and delicious, but the very best thing about this restaurant is Christina and Andreâ, the owners. They are personally invested in making their guests enjoy a spectacular evening. Christina greets each guest with a welcoming smile (even when our party appeared an hour early for our reservation - oops!) We enjoyed a tasty amuse bouche while sipping champagne and hearing about the specials. The mustard crusted salmon filet was out of this world. While finishing our meal, Andreâ stepped out of the kitchen to greet us and ask about our meal in a way you know he really wanted our thoughts, our input. Then dessert and a cordial. Ahhhh. This spot is special, the meal we most anticipate each trip to Paso, a short step across the street from our favorite inn, Hotel Cheval. Try this little gem. You will be charmed, too, I promise.Thank you Teresa for that incredible review!!! It really took my breath away..both Andre and I are so happy you and your guests had such a good time with us..can't wait for you to dine with us again..esp. when you just need to go across the street to Hotel Cheval!

Just got home from a Great meal. My wife had the Scallops and I had Calamari. We shared a bit and they were both delicious ! Best tartar sauce I've had in a long time. Will definitely be going back.

Not a likely choice for "best of" before we left for a 2 week swing through coastal California, but in hindsight, Fish Gaucho earns our vote but best restaurant. Great selection of Tequila based cocktails and very sophisticated taste combinations on menu. Server was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Bravo!

Traveling with my husband, Steve and his brother and wife in our RVs and stopped in Paso Robles, CA to visit Leon and Cindy (friends of my in laws). Leon suggested we all go to The Naked Fish for dinner. Because Iâm a picky eater (yes, I admit it!) I looked up the restaurant on my iPad and...surprise itâs a Sushi restaurant . We LOVE good sushi! Really well thought-out Website. Had their entire menu on their website making it very easy to make preliminary choices and they even listed Soy wrappers as an alternative to Nori (as much as I love Sushi, I hate Nori). We went early (5:30 PM) and were seated right away. We all ordered a round of drinks and rolls-all of which exceeded my expectations. Presentation of food was beautiful and the combination of ingredients masterfully executed. Our waiter was extremely personable and paid attention to what we all ordered and made insightful and wonderful suggestions on their Speciality Rolls and Sashimi offerings which I would never have tried had he not made the suggestions (picky eater problem-solved). All in all a very wonderful eating experience. I highly recommend this restaurant- they had the entire package - quality fish, experienced Sushi Chefs, personable/knowledgeable waitstaff. The Naked Fish...thank you for an awesome evening!

Iggy's champagne chicken was succulent and very flavorful. My pasta with marinara, scallops and shrimp was excellent! Large, fresh shrimp and scallops in a very tasty marinara sauce on a bed of perfectly cooked pasta.....wasn't expecting our food to be so perfectly prepared as the location has been home to several restaurants in the past few years. Never ones to say "never", we decided to give the "new guys" a try. You should too!
