No need for lots of photos - itâs all about the quality and taste - and that is a 5. Follow their tasting recommendations to find your favorites for future visits - you will be going back. Fast, professional and friendly service. Would like more wine selections but it is all about the food. A must stop.

Always, always fresh and delicious. Of course, you need to be comfortable with the mandatory shoe removal policy/tradition and the acrobatic seating arrangements... But the generous servings executed perfectly by the chefs. Good service and the daily special are always a good idea. We keep coming back!

As so many have noted, the food is both exquisite in taste and presentation. Several of the courses ranked among the best I have ever had. We also were very fortunate in that our dinner partners procured our reservation on the first try! I felt that the sake pairings weren't worth the price. They did not seem to accent the dishes the way a good wine pairing can -- though to be fair, I am not all that familiar with sake so perhaps it is my lack of experience. I also felt that the sitting should either be about a half hour longer or two dishes shorter -- we felt a bit rushed at the end.But in the end, the ambiance, service, food and presentation far outweighed the minor complaints and the experience was very much worth it.

We showed up to this place with a reservation for 6:00pm and we were seated quickly. We ordered drinks first and then sushi.. the sushi was very fresh and good quality. Sadly, the service absolutely sucked. Our server was not very friendly, and actually brought our bill before she even cleared our plates. Our bill was $90.00 for two people and she had us OUT THE DOOR by 6:41pm.. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where I've felt so rushed to get out. As we were getting up to leave, I spilled an entire glass of water all over myself and the chair. She watched this happen and didn't bother to even bring one napkin over. The sushi was good, but it's LA.. for $90.00usd and 41 minutes, I think you can find the same quality of sushi with better service.

High end sushi. Has 4 locations.
I came here with a friend who absolutely loves this restaurant. We came early enough that we waited maybe 5 minutes for a table for dinner, which was awesome since she told me there is usually a crazy wait. The waiter suggested we try the "Trust Me" after he explained the menu, and that's what we both got. The small sushi plates kept coming, and I was definitely full at the end. The fish tasted so fresh, and everything was delicious! I like how they told us to eat everything right away and not add any sauce if a plate already had it on it. Definitely my first experience with a menu like this, and I loved it!
