Stopped for take-out sandwiches and got turkey and avocado-cucumber. Both were tasty with fresh ingredients, lots of vegetables and a dill pickle spear. The dijonnaise was especially good. They were ~$6, a terrific bargain for the quality of the food!

Don't expect much; just not the same. Visited twice, once for take-out, so doubly not impressed.-Corned Beef sandwich...likely not Boars Head (good!) but bread was not rye, and no pickle with the sandwich (how could that be?) At least, they had Dr. Brown's cream soda.-Went to dinner with wife, who was reluctant (it did not smell like a jewish deli). Disappointed in the whole experience:--(young) waitress did not handle complaints real well, and proceeded to get pouty and would not serve us. Strike one....table moved after complaint to manager. Jewish waiters can take and give out the complaints. Besides the sign on the door asked for people to hire that like to work with people.Menu extensive, a bit eclectic for a deli....when would you see matzo brei when it isn't passover?Meal was disappointing: matzoh ball soup insipid, chopped liver like loose paste, the only good item was the hot chocolate. I finally found a place for good kippered herring, but could not figure out why it was served with salid and what was suposed to be a latke, but just a fried hash brown pancake. But the most annoying feature was that they will charge you $1.50 for a hot cup of water or $4.00 for a pot of hot water.Server was great after we moved, but he too spoke of the quality of food prep slipping in the last year or so.
Subway is the same world wide - good value, fresh ingredients and quick service. We enjoyed this for a cheap and easy lunch, and made a meal of it for a dinner. Same quality as Australian Subways.

The couple that owns this café are friendly, remember their customers, and provide good food. They will also customize. I like that the sandwiches to go are wrapped in recyclable materials (foil, paper). I love the pastrami with sauerkraut. They use Acme bread and hey also make good coffee. I love their bookshelf.

Quick "Subway" like but much better. Especially like the hot Pastrami which is huge, hot and juicy. Patrons seem to be adveserse to cleaning up their tables
