This restaurant is quite popular! We were there on a Friday morning for a baby shower and it was quite crowded with diners both inside and out and those waiting to be seated. We had reservations so we were seated right away. Food and service was excellent. It can be quite noisy and feels somewhat cramped. The facilities are located on the second level via stairs or a lift. City parking lot is free and convenient.

After walking for several hours, we were both hungry and thirsty when we arrived at this cafe in the LA County Arboretum. It was nice to be in air conditioning and the food tasted great. I had a gardenburger and my husband had a California melt. You go up to the counter to order and the food is brought to your table.

We tried the Strawberry Japanese Cheesecake and it was a delight! Delicious and delicate to the palate, this cheesecake is something to partake. Hot and fresh from the oven, it is best eaten warm. Although, even after a overnight wait, it is still delicious.

We were eight for dinner and choose this restaurant because we knew it would be quiet. And it was. We can all hear each other talk. But of course the best part was the food. Some in our group ordered the three-course special while others just ordered a la carte. All the food was fabulous. All fresh. All delicious. All well priced. The wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Iâm not often in this area, but next time I find myself here I will return.

I've ordered several cakes from deCroupet's. The sisters do amazing work. They offer decorating classes that are also a blast. I've learned so much. I brought them a photo I found on the internet of a cake for my daughter's baby shower. It was very technical. They nailed it. It was beautiful and tasted wonderful.
