This is a newer Applebee's but we're glad they opened it up in our city. Since opening, they've changed their menu, probably as per corporate requests, but I think for the better. Most people know that Applebee's has a variety of dishes you may enjoy in your own home but don't want to cook! The prices are very reasonable especially for the variety you get. They now not have only a "weight watchers" type menu but several wonderful gluten free dishes, too. The service is great and the servers very friendly. If you would like to make a special request to what you are ordering, they will do what they can to accommodate your request. There is a sports bar in the center of the restaurant and you can se the tv's if you want to check out a game yet it's quiet enough to enjoy a meal and not be bothered. The food ranges from hamburgers, chicken and steaks to Asian dishes. Our Walnut Applebee's supports the local Jr. High and HS sports teams which is always a plus! There is outdoor seating for the warmer and spring-like weather and curbside pick-up, also. A great place to enjoy a quick, good, enjoyable meal any day of the week.

I ordered the chicken pasta and it came out cold, so they proceeds take my dish away took it back into the kitchen looks like they microwave did put it on a dirty plate and then tried to serve it to me again. The waitress kept apologizing for the food quality and I kept telling her it's not her fault she's not the one cooking it. I'll never eat at that location again, poor management response as well We're sorry to hear your meal was unsatisfactory during your recent visit. Stopped in for lunch at the recommendation of a friend. Excellent food and service. We just had sandwiches, but the menu has much more. Chicken tacos, salads, etc.

Feel free to stop by at Holiday Inn Diamond Bar DB's Grille and Bar after a long day at work or when you get back from sightseeing. Sit down at one of the candlelit tables and choose from a wide selection of beer and wine that accompany our delicious food

Friendly staff for sure, nice ambiance but if you are there to catch up on your sports for the day there are really only a couple of tvs. Drinks are a lil pricey, $8 for a mixed drink, but food is reasonable (awesome lasagna dinner is only $12). Patio outside to enjoy a cali evening, very nice and shaded.

After a forgettable experience here a few years ago, I returned for a family birthday celebration. Although more than half the tables were empty on a Saturday afternoon, people were waiting 15 minutes or more to be seated and perhaps the reason was shortage of waitstaff. The courteous young man who finally got around to us had trouble writing up a glass of wine, like he'd never heard of Pinot Grigio. (There are two different ones on the wine list.) The good news is that when the food finally arrived the portions were huge and mostly delicious. Noisy sports bar atmosphere with lots of families. Huge menu has very few choices for vegetarians, although they tell you to ask if any of the meat dishes can be prepared without meat. If $15 hamburgers and $18 salads with craft beer are your thing, you'll love it here.
