We've been here a couple of times now with friends and have really enjoyed the food. My favorite dish is fast becoming the pork enchiladas with green sauce. The sauce is so delicious. The staff is very nice and great at refilling beverages. We will continue to return to La Salsa when we visit Taft. We highly recommend you give this restaurant a try!
This is obviously a favorite of locals - couples and families - who were eating there Sunday evening when we arrived. The place has very interesting murals and trompe l'oeil art inside as well. Our margaritas were a good accompaniment to the chips and salsa. Our dinners filled us to the brim - chile rellenos, cheese enchilada and a chimichanga with home-style refried beans and rice. I'd go again if in the area.
We were staying in Maricopa where the restaurant choices are very limited. Since Taft is only about seven minutes away from Maricopa, we decided to go there to Mi Casita. The staff was very friendly and our margaritas were delicious as were our meals. We both had the Enchilada Suizas. Usually we share a plate when we go out, but this time we each got our own. Good thing, too, since we ate practically everything on our plates! We had one enchilada each which was plenty. I recommend Mi Casita for the food, the drinks, and the service.
