The waitresses working on Tues. evening did a bang up job serving the large influx of people all at once. We had the house margaritas while we waited, but found the premium ones at nearly twice the cost were definitely better and worth it. My husband had the combo fajitas and was very happy with the flavor, as well as the portion size. I had 2 tacos, and along with the chips and salsa (a bit too spicy for my tastes, but I kept going back to it!), I was happily full. Overall, this seemed just basic Mexican food, but nothing special.

We spent one night at the Clarion hotel in Blythe. Used Trip Advisor to find a good restaurant. This one did not disappoint. We decided to get our order to go and relax in our room. Ordered a bean tostada, beef taquito, beef burrito with Verde sauce. It was all perfect. Price was very reasonable. Got a side of guacamole for the tostada. It was so filling and yummy. The other reviews about the beans were right on. They were fresh. The service was very good. The meal was delivered to me in a cardboard box which made it very easy to transport back to the hotel room. Great meal!

The chimichangas are excellent. They come with different meat fillings, but I love the shredded beef. They come with a salad, fresh coarsely chopped veggies similar to salsa, but without the seasonings. The chimichanga is covered with guacamole and sour cream. Good stuff that is complimented by a beer.

Had a great dinner at Amapola last night! This was our second dinner there. The food was great, consistent with our last meal. The menchaca was exceptional on both occasions, as were the chilly rellanos. The service was also great on both occasions. Our server, whose name was difficult, Zaretea perhaps, did an exceptional job. I would recommend this restaurant.
