Came here randomly for lunch as I was on a lunch break from working out in Huntington Beach. I really loved the name of the place. At first it was a little hard to tell if they were open or not, but Trip Advisor said they were, so I went in and was so suprised to see the place packed! That's always a good sign. I just had the Kale salad, which was amazing. I'm not ususally into salads too much (especially Kale), but my waiter told me it was one of his favorites so I gave it a try. Yum Yum! It was very good & I was very impressed! So 2 thumbs up for Black Trumpet!!

Went there last night after target shooting. Got there 25 minutes before closing. Our server, Joycelyn approached with a happy upbeat attitude asking if we had been there before. Her knowledge of the food and its preparation was awesome and her attitude was over the top welcoming. The food is great and very reasonable. Home made lamb sausage infused Mediterranean spices, gyros stacked high with purple onion and tsaziki topping, and then there was the Dolm's. OMG.... order these ($4.95) and you have a meal.

In downtown HB on Main Street. Coach constantly serves up huge portions of excellent food. The combination plate for 2 is more than enough for 4. The ambiance is very nice. A great change from the usual sushi and Italian.

We have been staying across the street and I've had my eye on this place since we got here 2 days ago. Finally talked everyone into going. Its not much to look at. The dining area is small. There was one man working the take out orders, dining room, and answering the phone so I was nervous. But we sat down and ordered, he brought out the most amazing bread along with our yogurt sauce, and we were sold. Our meals were delish too. I had a #23, my husband had the #17 and our kids each got a pizza. Its the real deal.
