Came here after reading reviews on our way to a concert. We got seated quickly for a Saturday night without reservations. I got the meatballs in a chipotle cream sauce (excellent!!!) and a salad (very good). Huge menu and food was very good. We thought the service was excellent.

Fabulous food here! I’m shocked at how little attention the TA community has given this gem. Super fresh tasting food whether it be the flavorful crispy skinned marinated chicken fresh off the grill or the warm and elastic flour tortillas, salsas (5), pintos, tomatoey rice mmmm.

Tacos El Gordo De Tijuana

We were staying at the hotel across the street and decided to check it out. If you’ve never been there, it’s slightly confusing. Basically get in one of four lines depending on the type of meat you want. Your food is made right in front of you and very fresh. The meat is cooked over charcoal and is very flavorful. We ordered a variety of four different tacos, then went back for a half order of Carne Asada fries. Everything was tasty and made quickly. I’m sure we’ll walk across the street to eat here again before we head home!

Taqueria Revolucion

Staying at a hotel, I didn't feel like driving all over to find good dinner. Fortunately I lucked out, when just across the 805 I saw the sign for Taqueria Revolucion. This place definitely produces "revolutionary tacos". Besides having a display kitchen behind a large window, 5 cooks dressed in black uniforms, efficiently worked their stations prepping or assembling meals. The adobada (pork) and pollo asado (chicken) made wonderful tasty tacos.
