Went here for Dinner. We were seated right away and our drinks arrived shortly after the waitress took the order. We ordered A few hand rolls and they had ample fish in them. We ordered the Sushi, sashimi combination platter it comes with a California roll, 5 nice size of fish laid on the sushi, I t also had 2 pieces of the same fish as sashimi. All fish was fresh and tasty. The Miso soup is very good. Did not have desert, but we did have sweet shrimp, the heads were excellent. My new favorite local sushi place to eat

The food here was quite well prepared and was wee portioned. I had the combination tempura lunch box. It comes with shrimp and vegetable tempura, rice, salad and a little fresh fruit.....grapes in my case. The tempura is very crisp and the batter is not doughy at all. There's a good variety of veggies and two decent sized shrimp. My wife had the seafood udon and enjoyed it. The seafood was shrimp, imitation crab and oysters. She enjoyed it.The only issue is that the service was quite slow. The waitresses were polite, but it was a while to get the food and a while to get the bill, and an even longer while to get the credit card receipt to sign. But it's worth a repeat.

The Mexican owner/chefs are making me rethink the sushi experience. In-house prepared sauces and delightful flavors are so unexpected. They have an excellent take on Yaki-Soba with a seriously good broth and grilled chicken pieces. The JC Special with Poke was fabulous and worth the $17.95 cost. This was a "seared" poke with grilled onion strings and pieces of seared fish and sauce. It was smokey and delicious. In addition there were several pieces of assorted fish and shrimp sushi - a nice plate. They do serve another more traditional poke for those who want a more marinated style of fish. The place is small, but huge on flavor.

Friendly atmosphere. All you can eat for $25. Most of the sushi is pretty standard, nothing extraordinary, but the fish is fresh. Some of the rolls are creative, and do try the mussels and the yellow tail. Yum. I'd say for a local all-you-can-eat joint, Sushi Ray is pretty darn good. Only open for dinner, though.
