Our family owned & operated , "Little Italy in San Pablo," offers a place where you can enjoy traditional Italian cuisine & always feel welcome!
My husband and I had the delightful opportunity to try this establishment for the first time. We arrived without reservations, yet with a packed house, we were found a table within 5 minutes. We were very impressed with the professional staff, their kind mannerism and efficiency. The ambiance is traditional Italian...decor, low lighting and music. The mouth watering aroma entices your senses. An excellent selection of wine and cocktails. Everything was perfect from the antipasto and salads to our entreeâs. I wish we lived in the area just so we could repeat this lovely experience.

Super casual, but haute styles. We went here based on the tripadvisor reviews. I am a chef/restaurateur, Italian chef at that...And this place delivered. From the chilled bottled water to the simple roasted potatoes, it was all ON POINT. We had the chicken roll...fantastic. I have never had Marsala with cheese like that. Totally authentic, and fun...reminded us of our Italian honeymoon in Tuscany.

We only came here because we couldn't find anything else that was open, it's in a shopping mall with not much happening late at night. However glad we did, pizza was great. Nice crust, not too thick, not too thin, really fresh ingredients, just ignore the lack of ambience. We had a pizza with lots of veggies and some sausage, not sure what it was called but it was a winner. About $17 for a medium which was more than enough for 2 of us (one of whom is a teenage boy, and we were both hungry). We don't live in the area but this would be a regular if we did. They also take phone orders so you can just swing by and collect, and parking is easy.

I've been a patron of PJ's for years. Always friendly, great food. Chef Umberto is a genius with Northern Italian cuisine. John,Hector and Johhna, the bartenders pour terrific cocktails, and Nancy and Kim, whether you are eating in the restaurant or bar take care of you wonderfully. My favorite is rack of lamb, osso bucco or any of the seafood dishes, that make you feel, the fish was just caught. Just yummy, hearty food. Love the pesto dipping sauce , fried calamari if just in the mood for appetizers. Whether you come alone, or with a group, PJ's is a great neighborhood place to stop for drinks or a great dinner. What I love about this place, there will always be somebody I know to chat with, whether I come in with friends or by myself .My only issue is actually with Trip Advisor, I'm not sure where that picture came from, but it's not their plates and not representative how the food is plated..
