Discover Restaurants offering the best Asian food in Long Beach, California, United States. For some, a tour of the Queen Mary, docked here since its retirement in 1967, evokes waves of nostalgia for the days of the huge ocean liner with its opulent rooms, 1930s deco décor and teakwood decks. Others, particularly the younger set, are entranced by the spine-tingling haunted ship stories on the nighttime ghost tour. But for everyone, a visit to this floating hotel and museum is a must on any trip to Long Beach. At one time a less-than-appealing place to visit, Long Beach has transformed itself into an upscale tourist resort, with many waterfront attractions, including a new, state-of-the-art aquarium with a fabulous shark exhibit, two excellent art museums, charming shops, public golf courses, the annual April Grand Prix international auto race and lots of recreational activities along its eight-mile stretch of beach. Take the kids to the waterfront entertainment complex with rides and live performances or to the farming demonstrations at Rancho Los Alamitos. Feeling romantic? Cruise the canals of Naples (that's right, Naples Island in Long Beach) in a genuine Venetian gondola. One thing is for sure: tensions and stresses dissolve in this laid-back, friendly city.

We went to the Long Beach Aquarium for Father's Day and stopped at PF Chang's for lunch. The restaurant was full, but there was no wait. We loved the Dynamite Shrimp appetizer and all of the main courses. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks filled without being overbearing.

I had a really nice lunch here. They have a very big menu and seem to do everything pretty well. Soup to entrees were enjoyable and the portion sizes were great. Nice service and plenty of parking in the lot outside.

The restaurant is located close to the intersection where finding parking is not a problem. So we parked right in front of the restaurant! We came here to have dinner with my friend who moved many years ago from NY to California. She came and org her husband to be who happened to be Korean. We had some appetizers and drinks to start. They have happy hour till 7 pm. We had some chicken wings, mini burgers, chicken bibimbap and some soups. I tried the soup and thought it was fantastic. This beef broth soup had an amazing taste yum yum! I liked the bibimbap a lot! I wasn't crazy about the rest but I tried them. The place is quite big with two separate dining sections: the bar/lounge dining area and the dining room area. There's a small bar with no bartender but servers use it to get ready the drinks for their guests. Our waitress, Ashley, was friendly and attentive. She did a nice job. While this is a BBQ restaurant there's no barbecue for you to do-it-yourself. The barbecue would come from the kitchen if you order one. It could be better so that no one's trying to show their talent at the wrong place and burn their hands. Last but not least we tried the macaron ice cream with green tea flavor. Woohoo! Overall experience was very good. Hubby thought the bathroom here needs an improvement just like the restaurant we went earlier.
