I took two family members to Kimi recently for dinner on a Saturday afternoon; theyâre open all day Saturdays! The service is remarkable, and the food was spot on! One guest had the Tiger Roll (excellent), one had Tempura Shrimp, (always 5 star), and I had the Teriaki chicken Bento Box (great value with a variety of specialties). We were very happy with our meal! I go there often as a local. If you like Japanese food, Kimi is the place! Even Los Angelinos rave at the quality and the price! Try it! Amazing value coupled with amazing quality. Sashimi was excellent, handroll crisp and freshly made, but the collar was outstanding, I was lucky to get it :-) Service was a little spotty, due to a shift changeover I think, but once that was sorted out, all went well. The place is hopping, and I can see why, it's excellent

I saw the sign "Asian Buffet" while on the way to Walgreens, and I said, "Why not?"I was pleasantly surprised to see how large and well-appointed this place was. It's not some dingy little hole-in-the-wall, for sure. And for only $8.99 for lunch, you might not expect too much. Wrong again. There are plenty of choices. Not that I tried everything, but the egg-drop soup was nice, and I especially liked the Honey Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The Teriyaki Chicken on a skewer was OK too. My wife thought the stuffed crab was mostly stuffing though. There are some little cakes, almond cookies, ice cream and sherbet cups for dessert if you're not too full of the regular stuff. Maybe some items are not up to par but I quite liked everything I ate and expect to become a regular here.
