We had dinner here and really, really enjoyed it. Make sure to have reservations since it is a popular spot for very good reason. The food is excellent, and the service even better.The place is very rustic, and was lucky to escape the recent fires that ravaged the area. They were literally less than 100 yards from where the road is closed.As our meal was winding down, a couple of musicians came in and performed a few tunes. That was a lot of fun as well.Prices are reasonable for the quality, and well worth it in my opinion. Would definitely return the next time we are in the area.

Above all, this place is "adult" and classy. However it is expensive. Happy Hour for 2 with a jumbo shrimp dish, something else I've forgotten, and 4 glasses of HH cabernet came to $74 before tip. A bit much,and the wine was ordinary, and the amount in the glasses less than you would expect, or get elsewhere. The food on offer is good. I guess overall you get what you pay for but it ain't cheap.

We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. The ambiance is hard to explain other than just plain outstanding. If you are looking for fancy don't go but if you are looking for a place that if full of energy this your place.It has such a history behind it and I am sure it has been there forever. You are missing out if you do not visit this restaurant.. I cannot recommend it too much!
