This is very nice restaurant tucked away in charming shopping area just outside of Santa Barbara. Appropriate that we visited on Cinco de Mayo! The bartender gave us a great margarita, his favorite, while we waited to be seated. The menu has so many great choices a mix of Mexican and Spanish cuisine. The five of us ordered different things and we were all impressed with our orders and enjoyed them! Plenty of food!

Loquita is a Spanish restaurant offering authentic Spanish food including hot and cold tapas and pintxos, wood-fired seafood, grilled meats and three types of paella. The wine list is comprised almost entirely of Spanish wines and the cocktail program fea
Food here is wonderful and the ambiance in the outside patio area is fantastic. Prices on wine are extremely high, but the sangria is good and reasonably prices. There are lots of tapas dishes, as you would expect. But when you order a couple of these (they aren't big) and then a paella, the cost shoots up to be extremely expensive, even for Santa Barbara! So go if you want to have a special meal or date, but save it for special!

Came to Santa Barbara with my girlfriends for a weekend getaway and stumbled upon Milk and Honey. It is dimly lit and limited seating, we did not make a reservation, but got lucky after waiting only a few minutes. We ordered the street corn, date wrapped in bacon and Brussels sprouts to start. The street corn had a great kick of spice to it, the honey drizzled on the dates was so tasty and the Brussels sprouts were covered in lemon-goodness. For our entree I had the Ahi Tartare... it was not my favorite- it tasted like nothing. A friend of mine had the Por Que Pig and said it was very good and the smartest friend of them all ordered the Nice Rack- Lamb Chops it came 3-4 lamb lollipops to an order and it was the best lamb I have EVER had. It was covered in a teriyaki, honey, butter, brown sugar mess topped with fried onions that tasted like pure heaven. I wish I would have ordered that and had it all to myself. I would drive 4.5 hours to have this dish any day. Thank you Milk and Honey.
