This place is amazing. Right on the water, and I mean on, overlooking San Francisco Bay. Stunning sunsets. The food is excelled but expensive. A great place for fish lovers. Very friendly staff. Large car park. We had a lovely lunch here for an anniversary during a day trip to Sausalito from SF. The restaurant is beautifully situated, hanging over the water. Inside it has a real colonial feel and is very elegant. Crisp white table cloths etc. We both had the curried mussels as a starter which were amazing, the sauce was a coconut milk based curry and it was divine. We then both had the double lobster tails which were equally fabulous. All washed down with a bottle of Sancerre. No room for dessert sadly. The food was lovely and our waiter was charming and very efficient. The only reason for 4 stars not 5 is that, given the price of our meal, we felt rushed. We were quite near the door and very aware of lots of hustle and bustle, with guests waiting to be seated loitering around. It wasn't quite the relaxed atmosphere we hoped for. However, given it's location in Sausalito I guess we should not be too surprised.

We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated but it was worth waiting for.Service was excellent!AService wasThank you for the five star review. We work hard to give our guests the best experience and I'm pleased to hear we accomplished that on your visit. We hope to see you again soon.
