We went here really hungry, and when Iâm really hungry Iâm not super picky. Iâm talking I would eat reheated McDonaldâs if I were hungry enough. Itâs a long, narrow restaurant without a lot of seating. I give them a plus for having photos of some of the meals on the wall which gives you an idea of serving portions and what the meal includes. You order and pay at the front and they give you a number and bring it out to you.The rice was super bland. The bread was super, super bland and firm. Thereâs no way in hell it was fresh. The dipping sauce was weird. Instead of the usual garlic/cucumber/yogurt flavors Iâm used to it was like flavored mayonnaise.I have no idea how previous reviewers think this is real Mediterranean. I love Mediterranean food and this was disappointing.

Filling mealGood service.Quality and flavours compared to what we have experienced elsewhere in the world in similar establishments was disappointing.Maybe because of what seemed to be a blend of cuisine. Mediteranean is a little nebulous since there are many offerings along those shores. My moussaka wasn't up to the standards I have had in Greek restaurants nor was the gyros she who must be obeyed ordered! The red cabbage salad was a highlight on each plate as was quantity of food

Greek yogurt and Turkish coffee - harmony in Burlingame!Did not sample the yogurt - although the menu board and fresh preparation was impressive - I did have the Turkish coffee. First of all - very well done. Not often you can have a proper Turkish coffee walking down a street in 'Anytown' USA. Prepared with brown sugar and cardamom (I think) - was a unique twist and offering. Only drawback - I got the large which comes in the traditional drip mug. Recommend the small order instead. Worth a stop!
