Escondido has many kitchens located in the back of small grocery store butcher sections and they are excellent for tacos and burros to go. If you don't want a grocery experience and want to sit down to the authentic flavors and variety, go to TJ tacos for a fast and flavorful taco or two or three.

I am a native of New Jersey, and besides missing Jersey pizza and Taylor pork roll, I miss a good sub (with vinegar & oil). If you would like to experience it go to Mike's Subs. Ask for the number 13, Mike;s way. I dare you not to enjoy it
