Sometimes, good and bad are anomalous experiences, so a redo is warranted. Happy to say, consistent good is the experience here. My control experiment is the pastrami on rye, which was excellent...lots of warm pastrami with not too much fat to trigger guilt, fantastic well-seeded fresh rye bread, crisp pickles, creamy but not too much Cole slaw and finally, potato pancakes, which were crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Efficient brisk service. Deli decor. A perfect deli experience. This has been my standard fare here over the several visits I have gone; the last few prove this is well worth the visit.

A New York style Deli meets a California healthy Diner ,a rare scratch kitchen 90% of our products are made in-house.
I used to eat here every month or so, but I have noticed a pattern of bad service especially when there are some sports on tv and the wait staff seems to prefer watching sports on tv to getting iced tea, etc. for customers. The bagels and rugalach are good, if you can get them delivered to your table in a timely manner.

Wow...I really like this place. You can tell is a family own establishment and the locals populate it well. There is a relationship with the waiters/waitresses and the repeat guest. That's a good thing. So I walked down the street from my hotel and walked in get a feel for the aesthetics and the menu. I was well received by the young man at the counter and pretty promptly taken to a table. The waiter approached me in a very friendly manner and welcomed me. I placed my order and got just a little bit of advice. Shortly after the food arrived and it was great to see a nice robust quantity of food. The presentation was great and the taste was exceptionally good. The dinner, Brisket of Beef covered an assortment of areas for $24.00. Trust me...it was fresh and quite tasty. This was a very comfortable place to have dinner. Unfortunately I could not get back there for Breakfast or Lunch. I certainly wanted to.
