The restaurant is located in an unassuming small strip mall. The interior is simple and pleasant. They have a side room with a little more traditional seating. The service is nice and basically efficient. But, they are very busy and you will have to get their attention. They menu is a bit small and limited. But, the items they offer were very good. The portions are a little on the smaller side. The quality of the ingredients were good and the flavors were very good. This would be a good restaurant for a simple date night. The meal was enjoyed and recommended!

Very cool vibe. Sit on low cushions on the floor at very low table. They come around and wash your hands before the meal. The waiter was very helpful in choosing dishes, and all the staff were friendly. The food was unique and excellent. Would come here again in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful surprise. This informal, very friendly restaurant served truly outstanding Ethiopian cuisine at quite acceptable prices. We found it to be far better (and less expensive) than the very popular (and difficult to get into) Zeni Ethiopian (Saratoga Ave., San Jose). The food was well flavored, excellent injera (far better than the too thick and too spongy version at Zeni), very helpful service. A new favorite.
