Wanted something in walking distance after traveling all day. This was a French restaurant and we loved everything. We sat outdoors on a beautiful evening. We started with huge shrimp cocktails and spicy sauce. The Caesar salad was perfectly anointed with dressing over crisp romaine with croutons and shaved cheese. I had fabulous lamb chops with sautéed spinach and sweet potato au gratin, which was unusual and delicious. The salmon was grilled with mashed potatoes and grilled Brussel sprouts. Perfect size, prepared perfectly. The chocolate praline mousse was perfect for the finish. Ashley our waitress was helpful, friendly and attentive.

Oceana Coastal Kitchen is the vibrant, signature restaurant inside the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa on San Diegoâs Mission Bay. Opened in 2015, Oceana embraces fresh California flavors and a modern, marine-inspired design â including a quartz-topped col
We stayed close to the Catamaran and stopped by to eat at Oceana. Service was excellent. From the busser who found us a table to our waitress...all were friendly and professional. The food was good...live music was nice...not too loud. We found the prices to be a bit on the expensive side. Then again we were paying for the view as well as the live music. Will definitely return as well as recommend. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your most recent visit to Catamaranâs signature restaurant Oceana Coastal Kitchen. We are delighted to hear that our staff made such an exemplary effort to ensure you left with positive memories! We are looking forward to you joining us again soon!

We love Eddie V and don't hesitate to go for a special occasion or just when we want to splurge. My absolute favorite dish is the Kung Pao Calamari. I also had the Goat cheese salad. It had a little to much cheese for me but most people would think it was the perfect amount. My husband had the lobster bisque which was good but not the be=st he's ever eaten and the scallops which were perfect.

Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Had an excellent view of the bay and the numerous boats sailing around enjoying the superb weather. Our server, Julian, was courteous, pleasant and knowledgeable of the goings-on in the restaurant. Our food was excellent and served promptly. My son and his wife thoroughly enjoyed the Thai Chicken; grandson enjoyed the calamari, and my wife enjoyed the French onion soup. The fish and chips was OK...drinks were good. Would definitely go again. The upgrade to 4 stars is because of our excellent service.

My family tried this restaurant at the recommendation of the owner of the home we rented. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and our server continued to be fabulous for the duration of our meal. She explained the menu, adjusted things for my 2 teen daughters who wanted to share a few items and was prompt and helpful. The restaurant was full so I know there was lots on the go for the staff yet they were awesome. The food was delicious and the seafood was very fresh.

Resting on stilts atop San Diego Bay overlooking the city skyline and Coronado, thereâs nowhere better than Island Prime & C Level to experience quintessential San Diego.
While waiting to take our flight home, we found this neat spot. Our lunch was so good and the view perfect. I especially enjoyed the Thai Bowl with a glass of white wine. The waitress was very friendly and full of energy. All around excellent experience. Island Prime will be our 1st stop next time.

We went for Sunday Breakfast/Brunch. We had a large group and sat inside by a large picture window, beautiful tropical view. Our server was very nice and friendly. Very attentive. The menu is interesting, I guess itâs Hawaiian style. All egg dishes were served with garlic rice (hum?). I was able to substitute for the tri colored potatoes which were very good. They actually offer homemade spam that no one tried but I may next time. The Vanilla Waffles with fruit were amazing! Great perfectly cooked bacon! Portuguese sausage was delicious.Very pricey.

Good view of the harbor. We dined in a nice, quiet environment, in a room off to the side. Service was timely and thorough. The dishes we had were deftly crafted, sophisticated, and delicious. The sea scallops were A-grade and the plate had excellent accompaniments, including a great sauce. The salmon dish was also excellent. We think that this place ought to be rated much higher than the level it is currently at. Highly recommended!

This is a beautifully situated restaurant in the heart of beautiful LaJolla. We were there on a Saturday evening. We had made our reservation weeks ahead, which I would recommend. We were seated promptly, and the service was very good. The menu is definitely classic steakhouse, with nothing innovative or interesting (to me) on the menu. It is very pricey, but thatâs to be expected. The smallest steaks available were the filets. They were properly prepared and cooked. The sides we ordered were ok, nothing special or outstanding.
