This was my first time visiting a Wahoo's Fish Tacos and I was really impressed. The staff were friendly, professional and courteous. Oh, by the way did I forget to mention that the food was fantastic! I had the Banzai Bowl with cajun chicken and a spicy 'chi taco and both were delicious.

Waterline Newport Beach is a sophisticated yet casual waterfront restaurant open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday Brunch. The nautical-inspired restaurant offers a seasonal and fresh water-to-table experience led by Executive Chef, Vic Casan
Wanted to praise the Waterline for their Sunday brunch. It's unique in that you also get to select a plated entree. We had halibut and perfectly cooked steak and poached eggs with a chimichurri sauce. Tons of delicious seafood and charcuterie to choose from. The server, (Veronica) couldn't have been any more pleasant and made sure the champagne was always full!

What a wonderful end to a perfect day. My nieces bridal shower that my wife workers in for so long. Followed by my BIL and I setting up for her bachelorette party followed by a wonder Duffy party with hors dâoeuvres and libations. We ended up pulling up to the Cannery. The boat valet was very helpful and the ambiance of sitting outside right in the center of the restaurant was magical. The 9 of us enjoyed a wonderful evening. Great wine and drinks. And the fool was spectacular. The trout, the scallops, the pasta and shrimpAnd even a vegan dish was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this establishment. We have been coming to NPB for decades and have never eaten here before. Our loss. Glad that other family members did. Whether you come for just dinner lunch or a special occasion it was magical.

We went to celebrate a birthday and it turned out to be a fabulous dining experirnce. My spouse had the Lobster bake, while my daughter had the Lobster dish, I had the Ciopino, my son in law the Linguinei with shrimp and my grandson had the the fried seafood platter. All were superb, the sides were very tasty and the portions were so large, that some was taken home!Thank you for your review, we appreciate it and hope we can serve you again soon!

Great dining experience! Love the wine themed entrance to the restaurant. We were seated near the window and had a nice view of the water. Upscale design and ambiance...beautiful inside. For starters we had a Caesar salad and the charred octopus. Both were excellent although the octopus didnât have much of a seat to it but was very tender and flavorful. For entrees I ordered the elk which was fantastic. They have a wild game entree each night that varies from night to night. My wife ordered the Maryâs chicken which was very well prepared and delicious. The only thing preventing this from being a 5* review was the service. It certainly wasnât stellar. Lack of attention was the main issue. Great spot though and definitely will return.

With spectacular waterfront views and an eclectic menu of fresh seafood and tender steaks, it's no wonder Rusty Pelican has become a Newport Beach dining destination. We are proud to be a recipient of Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for 2011, 2012, 2
The caesar salad was very low quality--wrong lettuce and no anchovies. The chef' special (Alaska halibut) was very second rate particularly when considering the price of $45. Not a good quality of meat and came only with mashed potatoes, no veggies. They touted the Key Lime pie, but again quality and taste were disappointing.

Every time I visit this area it is a must stop. The Place is located right on the boardwalk over looking the Beach & Ocean. The friendly staff greet you right away as you enter the restaurant and from that point forward make you feel at home. Great selection of adult beverages and the menu is great! And now the oysters.....AMAZING! If your in this area I would highly recommend paying this establishment a visit!

This restaurant is a rare combination of a steakhouse serving prime meat with an excellent variety of seafood options, particularly fish. Really liked the atmosphere. It had a nice vibe to it. Soft shell crab was in season so I started with that. It was delicious! Nice size crab and perfectly prepared. My wife started with the burrata and heirloom tomato salad. A couple of things were wrong here. The burrata was nothing more than mozzarella called burrata. They showed us the product and it did say burrata but more of the commercial mass produced variety. Authentic burrata is a very fresh cheese with an outer mozzarella layer and a soft gooey interior that doesnât have a long shelf live. The other thing was way too many tomatoes in proportion to the amount of burrata included on the dish. But enough of that. We both ordered steaks and they were delicious! Perfectly cooked with excellent flavor! I had a 22 oz rib eye and my wife a 12 oz filet. We sampled each otherâs and both of us really enjoyed each. Btw, the bread served was very fresh, warm and flavorful. Service was attentive, friendly and on point. No room for dessert. We had a wonderful evening and definitely will be back, we just wonât order the burrata salad next time. They did comp us on the salad which we really appreciated. Next time will try a fresh fish!

A once-every-couple-of-years reunion with old friends over dinner at Water Grill. The setting is lovely - a large, covered open air space with multiple bar and seating areas. A bit noisy, but that's normal for the size of hte restaurant.Entrees were black cod kabayaki and softshell crab, along with a couple glasses of Veuve Clicquot and a bottle our friends brought from home (no corkage was a big plus!). Excellent food, great service and the company of old friends. What could be finer?

This is a casual dining place, but be not deceived, the food is really good. It is both a seafood market and a restaurant. We came here for lunch and thorough enjoyed everything we had. My mom had the grilled salmon salad; the salmon had a wonderful crust on it and it was just right. I had the halibut; it came potatoes and asparagus and there was a pesto sauce over the halibut. It'w wonderful eating halibut that is moist and tender and this one was cooked just right. We also shared the ahi tuna appetizer; it was seared and served with seaweed. It was a light and refreshing dish that I ate alternating with my main course; it turned out to be a nice balanced meal in terms of temperature, flavors, and textures. We had the tiramisu and it was good but not nearly as good as anything I had in Italy recently. Next time, I think I'll try a different dessert. The service was good and prompt and attentive, particularly at keeping the water glasses topped off. I'll look forward to eating here again.
