Fred is the manager. And if you go to this location, you will find Fred at the door, at your table, entertaining kids and generally making sure your Applebee's experience was the best. I have reviewed several Applebee's in the past and Fred could be the training. Manager for the entire chain. Our meals were great as usual. Antonio was our server and obviously, Fred hires similar minded people. They are professional, polite and sincerely engaging. The place was packed. Our wait was a reasonable 20 minutes (at 5:30 pm) yet our drinks and meals were delivered within a very reasonable time and they were hot. Great experience.

The quality cuisine, comfort and handcrafted ales of Coronado Brewing Company have been luring thirsty travelers to the beautiful island of Coronado for the past 19 years. Whether you arrive by bridge, ferry, kayak or a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, ours
Family of 3 ate on a Monday night. Honestly I don't understand the excellent reviews here on TA. Overcooked chicken sandwich, fries were not fresh cut, empty ketchup bottle, and ridiculous kids meal price of $7 on off-brand blue box Mac-n-cheese!! Seriously, this is the first time I have ever encountered boxed Mac and cheese at a restaurant! My kid has never even eaten that at home, not to mention the tiny portion, fit for only age 6 and under. The beer was okay but we had much better the next day at another local brewery whose food blew this stuff out of the water. Perhaps high tourist season affects the quality??

Enjoy expertly prepared fresh seafood and steaks served in an elegant, nautically-themed atmosphere. Patio seating available.
This is one of the most mixed reviews I have ever written because one of the entrees ordered was excellent while the other entree (surf and turf) was awful. The Ahi Tuna entree was very tasty and I would order it again. The Turf portion of the Surf and Turf was cooked to order, yet extremely fatty and surprisingly tasteless. It was also very frustrating to see the steak served at the table next to ours was larger in size with minimum fat. Our waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. There is patio seating and a bar area serving awesome cocktails. I will definitely give them a second chance.

Burgers and beer. We stopped in first for a drink while walking around the Gaslamp district and, after a Padres game, we weren't really in the mood for a large meal so opted for a drink and a burger. The burgers are good. Enough options to satisfy most folks...enough for us.We sat and watched the Yankee/Dodger game for a while and had a couple of drinks...no rush.Worth the stop.

This is kind of a funky bar/burger place in the Gaslamp area of San Diego. We caught the tail end of happy hour with $5 beer and half price wine by the glass. Appetizers were discounted as well. We had the calamari which was delicious but very different from any presentation I had had before. It is on a bed of Asian slaw with some kind of yummy sauce. But if you hate cilantro, donât order this. Very heavy on cilantro. I had a grilled pineapple jalapeño burger that was very tasty along with garlic fries. I think the fries needed a bit more frying so they were crispier but very tasty. Your order is called by your spirit animal so gives the place a funky California vibe. Great casual dining and drinks.

Join us in our turn of the century Irish pub, shipped piece by piece from Ireland and relocated in the heart of San Diego's Historic Gaslamp Quarter. As soon as you walk through the door you will be enveloped by the warm relaxing atmosphere of an old Irish
Lots of places claim to be an 'authentic' Irish Pub but are not.The Field is TRULY authentic! I went here twice--once for lunch and returned for breakfast and each time the experience was amazing. I was seated right away and the service was way above excellent. The bartenders knew what they were doing and poured a true Irish coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough. they also have music at nights.Thank you olavin for your great review about us here at The Field.Happy to read you enjoyed both your visits with us, and thank you for recommending us to future guests.Cheers,

Bar/restaurant
This busy corner bar is big and hopping in the Gaslamp area. Happy Hour M-F 3-6pm has half off beers and draws locals and tourists alike. Some big communal tables, lots of bar space and outside tables too. I liked sitting at the bar counter overlooking the sidewalk and street action. Great friendly service. Check out the beautiful bathroom with the chandelier before you mosey back out into the city and on to the next place.

I walked by this pub several times before finally stopping in for beers. I can't speak to the food, but the beer list was extensive and included some great drafts, so my rating is based on solely on the beers. Very cool place.

The Brewery Half Door Brewing Co is a "pub" in the traditional Irish countryside sense of the word - a place where beer is made and served fresh. At one time in the recent past, every hamlet on the Emerald Isle had its own pub, its own brewer, and its own
A block or two from Petco Park Half Door Brewery is a convenient place to stop for a bite before the game. The place was packed on the Saturday that we stopped. It was one 10 breweries on the agenda that day. It was also the most disappointing one of the day. The beers that I tried were uneventful. With so many breweries in the area they need to step up their beer making game.Hello, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We value all feedback and take all of it into consideration. Hoping you can give us another try in the future!

We met some friends today for lunch on Pier 32 in National City, at The Waterfront Grill. The Restaurant sits above a beautiful new 250-slip marina on the Sweetwater River that leads to the San Diego Bay. The Waterfront Grill has indoor and outdoor seating for your convenience. After picking out your table and looking at the menu, and picking out your breakfast or dinner plates, customers will then walk up to the cashier counter where you will meet Debbie Stephenson. Debbie was so nice as she takes your order and you pay your Bill in advance, so your food can be delivered by DJ the nice server, to your table. Waterfront Grill also features many varieties of Sodas, Wines, and Beers, for your pleasure to enjoy. We had the very delicious New England style Clam Chowder, served in a sourdough bread bowl. The soup was really tasty. The Fish & Chips which were very tasty and crispy served with homemade Tater Sauce. And we had the Mesquite Smoked Albacore Sandwich, which was home made with grilled sourdough bread, garlic aoli, shaved red onion, toasted walnuts, and organic greens. It was Sooooo Good ! The Sandwich comes with a side of either garlic fries, mixed greens, potato salad, bean salad or regular crispy french fries. We had the regular crispy french fries which were very good. Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices, and Great Views. How can you Top that. The Waterfront Grill on Pier 32 is a must go place for Breakfast, Lunch or Happy Hour. It's worth the visit !
