Things to do in Turlock
We decided to try Figaro's Pizza rather late on a weekday evening. It was about 20 minutes till 9:00 and we knew they closed at 9:00. The owner (at least I think is was the owner) was very gracious and said we were quite welcome to stay and dine. We knew that it would keep them there late so we decided to take our food to go. Got home and enjoyed a fabulous tasting pizza. Ingredients tasted nice and fresh and the crust was just the right combination of crispy and soft. Will definitely be back.

IT was your typical Dominos delivery. Very courteous on the phone, thorough with the order and complete. All the food was heated as expected and they even had good choices of beverages.
Consistently good pizza. The price can't be beat. Now has a drive through window so now even more convenient. My kids won't eat any pizza except their cheese hot n ready.

Every time I'm in Turlock for a night at a hotel I make it a point to stop by here. Located inside the rear of the gas station mini mart, the to go restaurant specializes in made to order pizza, tacos, tri-tip sandwiches, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, burgers, and more. I've uploaded a few pics of the menu. I highly recommend the bacon cheese fries with whatever you order. Love the tacos and burgers. Excellent quality food all around. There are a few tables if you choose to sit and eat inside. This place is open until 10pm however the mini mart is open 24 hours. Just is just right outside the Days Inn motel and Comfort Suites Hotel. Highly recommended to travelers and families wanting a better fast food option for about the same price.
We tried the lunch buffet. The salad bar was fairly nice one with ample choices. The pizza was average. When we arrived fairly empty selections on pizza. However, several fresh, hot pizzas were out in about 10 minutes. The price is ok since it includes a soda as well as salad and pizza. The atmosphere was fine. The could improve the experience by more pizza options and better plates. For the pizza you receive the cheapest paper plate available.

Pizza Rev makes short order, customized pizzas. At different ones they have ranged from okay to pretty good. This one was pretty good. We also had a salad, which, while not expecting much, was REALLY good. Even more fun was that we were in a "tap room". About 20 different beers on tap. You got a wristband, and poured what you wanted, and the wristband automatically counted the beers for you. Pretty cool.
Great food and a fun place to go. They have several pool tables and even ping pong. We were really impressed that they had a net style curtain around the ping pong table. That was ingenious. The place is very clean. The food was well worth the stop. We had the salad and nachos, chili dog and hot wings. Yummy for sure. We would come back if we come to town again.

It's a close contest between Jura's and Mountain Mikes but for the best in Turlock I'll have to vote for Mountain Mikes. Using the weekly cupons we get in the mail the cost is considerbly less than Jura's too. If you like a cracker crust go with Jura's and if you like a bit of a softer crust go to Mountain Mikes.

Had not been to Vito's for a couple of years as we do not go to Turlock as much as we have in the past. When thinking about a place to dine, Vito's came back to mind and it was just wonderful. First, extremely friendly, being greeted by several employees after just entering the front door. We were seated quickly by a friendly hostess. Then drink orders (soft drink & water, in our case). Then the bread came that is rich in flavor and seemingly unlimited. They have a "two for" menu that we enjoyed, including an appetizer (or dessert), salads & six or so entrees to chose from. I had lasagna that was incredible & my wife had another choice (pesto sauce on some lovely pasta). BUT I started with some clam chowder (I highly recommend their New England clam chowder!!! AND I am a chowder snob!). There was multiple people waiting on us, keeping our glasses full & keeping any need met. Add a unique atmosphere with lovely wall paintings along with their rather incredible menu options (plus wine choices if you so desire) and this is a great place to spend time with those you love and enjoy. Started going to Vito's ten years ago and will be back sooner than later.

The menu offers something for everyone. Delicious pizza. Salad and many other choices, not to mention you can pick up a loaf of their fabulous bread. The pastries look tempting as well and they have beer on tap
