A second site of Pleasure Pizza in Santa Cruz, now offering a fuller menu rather than just pizza by the slice.

They recently renovated East Side Eatery, but it has the same menu. I came here today for happy hour where some appetizers are less expensive than others. I really like their pizza, salads and breakfast too. I normally always order the vegetables and ranch dressing because it offsets my other carb choices. I like the overall look of this place. The pub tables gives it a whole new look. I've never eaten out on the patio, but it's always busy out there.

Ppl visiting S'Cruz you must try the New York style pizza at Pizza My Heart! I would stop towards the end of 41rst Ave right before you jump on the freeway to head out of town.I cannot keep myself from always ordering the combo. It has evry good delicious meat on it...& the crust is thin & perfect. My son does not leave S'Cruz until he hits it on the way back to LA.It was voted the best pizza I think 2009. The only time a pizza won best award outside of Italy EVER!!! Great fast service & the place is always clean. Plenty of parking!

The pizza here was good. We went for 5 toppings and were glad we did. The mix of sauce, toppings and cheese was balanced. We prefer pizza that has less cheese and isn't heavy and greasy. This is what we asked for and what we got.Whatever way you want your pizza, they can make it.

I stopped in for pastries in the AM- they were fine, but nothing special. If you're staying down near the beach, this is one option other than Pixie for coffee and a quick bite. Space is tight compared to Pixie, so I took my stuff to go.

Pizza is always excellent and enjoyed by all. Service when ordering by phone can be sporadic. Twice orders have not been what I've wanted. I've learned to ask them to repeat back what we've ordered before they hang up. That seems to be annoying to them during busy times, but I'ld rather have my order right. We've never eaten in, but its always full and lots of families around.

A small local business with very good & reasonable dishes. One night they have meatball sandwiches, another night the special is spaghetti, and another night the special is pizza slices. Great spot for an inexpensive family meal. Very casual environment right near the local theater. You'll be able to catch a quick meal before the show. Easy shopping center location with plenty of parking.

This place sells pizza by the slice, or whole. We usually get a whole large veggi pizza, and get the kids a slice of pepperoni each. The pizza is not cheap, but it is delicious. There is seating there, but we usually take it to go.

Off the highway with a round about way to get to, this restaurant is really worth the effort to find it. They serve Lunch and Dinner and have daily specials. Tuesday was Taco Tuesday and tacos were $3.00. There is also something going on Sundays for the football games.Ordered the chicken club which was served on a tortilla and it was delicious and HUGE. Could only eat half and had the other half for dinner. Hubby ordered the Reuben and he, too, could only eat half for lunch saving the other half for dinner.

I have tried several Santa Cruz pizza establishments through the years but always come back to Pizza My Heart. Why? Because it's the best. Its dough and toppings are always fresh and tasty. You can build your own or order from a large array for pizzas cleverly named for local attractions. There is a vegetarian menu also. Pizzas are not cheap but you get what you pay for.

We were a table for six. Birthday party for my husband. When i made reservations, I asked if I could bring a cake, the guy on the phone said sure. When we arrived, I talked to a busser and said this is cake for that table....He said: "you know there is a $5.00 cutting fee for each person". I said really, no one told me that. That was the first indication this was not going to be a great experience. The cake sat on the floor in the corner..... $30.00 to cut a cake? really? (We ate it at home).Next came the corkage fee of $35.00 a bottle. Outrageous! So we ordered by the glass and did not get to taste the two amazing bottles our friends had brought for the table.Had to ask for menus, service okay, hardly anyone in restaurant. Not sure why our table waited so long.Portions small and expensive for what you get. My Seafood Puttanesca literally had five small pieces of fish (looked like scraps from something else), one shrimp and four small clams. Sauce was too spicy and not pleasant. Also expensive. Others in group said some entrees were good, and some just okay.Bread never refilled, busser stacked plates when clearing right in front of me.....Three of us have worked in restaurants, and that is a "No-No". Train your bussers. Waitress was pleasant and apologized for the cake issue...... Brought us free dessert to share.Bill was over $300.00 for six of us. Wine prices marked up triple per bottle, (usually doubled). Wine per glass was in the ball park, but a thin pour. None of us will ever go there ever again. For a local establishment, they must be banking on the tourist trade to keep them going, or that their bar is always crowded for Happy Hour...Maybe that will keep them afloat. Female owner always looks cranky......and not happy to see customers. There are other places with way better food, ambience and appeal.
