I love this restaurant, especially the ceviche tostada with a side of avocado.however, this visit the tacos were very soggy, the salsa not spicy at all and the refried beans had little flavor. We will be back but are hoping that this review is noticed and paid attention to.

Owners are Rodolfo Garcia and Juan Manuel Garcia. Restaurant offers excellent home-style Mexican food. Impressively friendly owners and staff. Although small, very clean and comfortable surroundings. Generous portions of everything, including the wine. Pr
The waitress came to get our order but we never got the menu. I ordered Caldo de Res- total disappointment... meat was hard and dry and it lacked flavor. My husband ordered hard shell tacos...nothing special about them. Im willing to give it another try only because it was highly recommended by a friend.

We came on a week night for this visit. Got a table right away. Don't know if that is a good sign. Felt like this night their heart was not in it. We have been here numerous times so will be back in the future because before this day, we had not had a bad experience.

Let's start with Outstanding: the service. Mexican Riviera Restaurant has the magic touch when it comes to hiring. Everyone who came within range made sure we were doted upon (plenty of chips, salsa without asking). I would go back just for the service. Margarita's were great and came with Drambuie on the side - too much ice so it didn't feel like I had a satisfying portion - but my drink was very good. The kitchen took a bit with our order but that's because the place was crowded - as it always seems to be. Not that my party and I cared, we were sitting on a beautiful patio (a bit cramped but again no one cared because we felt so pampered). Definitely choose the patio if possible because the inside tables didn't seem to have the same vibrant energy as outside. Food was delicious. My older son and I had the grilled fish tacos. The fish portion was generous and tasty. I am not a cilantro eater (hard to get by in a Mexican restaurant without it) and the slaw had cilantro in it so they substituted a nice side salad. Love that they were so accommodating. My youngest son had the giant 'everything burrito'. Delicious and HUGE! My husband loved his tamale but the beef taco was unimpressive. We'll definitely be going back.

If you get around opening hours, it feels very fresh. The staff on the toes and seem genuinely inspired to meet customers. One can not claim that Chipotle is especially innovative, few or never any specials or new products. But what is served is plentiful, making it a sticky experience to eat here. However, I have never understood the name Mexican Grill, which I think is misleading

Good service..good chips...mediocre salsa...and food...naah..not much for a vegetarian or a vegan...very limited choice and pricey for what you get...Oaxan cheese enchiladas...way way too much mole...even rice was plain because spanish rice had chicken stock...no beans because they have lard...Cheese enchiladas..not very hot and cheese not melted...thanks ..but it was one and done...

They give you a couple sauces to go with your chips. One is a pureed salsa the other is like a cilantro sauce. I ordered the taste of ceiviche with a white fish ceiviche, shrimp ceiviche and a spicy seafood ceviche. Wow. They were fab. Fav is the shrimp with chiles.

Close to the Best Western and had a high rating. Great happy hour specials with $1 off draft $6 margaritas. Tacos range from $2.50 to $3.50, Carne Asada and Short Rib tacos are great. Fresh juicy meat. Comes authentically with cheese and onions on the side. Stay away from the Carnitas one, not much flavor. Tortillas are fresh and made on location! Tacos come out super fast which is nice if in a hurry.

One block in from the strand, nice location. Inside or outside patio available. Rarely do we have to wait on the weekends and somehow we get lucky with parking nearby. We recently had lunch there and the chips and salsa are always good. I had huevos rancheros and my friend had shrimp enchiladas (good verde sauce). Plenty to eat and tasty. Nice little cafe for good Mexican food. Servers are friendly and everyone seems to enjoy the patio.

Fast, friendly and efficient service. The menu is extensive and the food was delicious. It was really noisy inside with 2 large groups when we dined there, but if you prefer there is an outdoor patio (full when we visited). I can see why it's so popular and highly rated.
