I was amazed to find no one has reviewed this place. The burritos are great, I been here numerous times and the service is always top notch. The price is descent and you get a plate full of what you ordered.

It is a small place across the Bayfair Mall, where it has a Michaels store. We went there based on a friend's recommendation. An order of tacos has three tacos. All orders come with a side of chips and dips. The burrito was big and very filling.Would come back if in the area.
I stop by since I was on my way to pak n save. I was pleasantly surprised. The price was great. The menu was not like 100 different things, they kept it short and sweet. The people were great. I was surprised they had salsa bar. The burrito was off the chain but I wished I could ordered the shrimp cocktail. That is my weakness. I came back 3 more times in the last week and boy I was not disappointed. These people know what their doing. Just kind of funny that they are next to a gym and tanning booth place.

I have eaten here twice and it was equally bad both times. I can't imagine how they stay in business in such a predominately Hispanic area. I wouldn't eat here again even if it was free. It is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was friendly, but the food is terrible.
Several times per year I go to visit friends in San Leandro, CA. and we always go to Ana Rosa´s Mexican Restaurant. It is a small family restaurant with a mixed clientele who all for the authentic Jalisco styled Mexican dishes. I have gone for Sunday breakfast and evening meals and never once have been even a little dissppointed. The modestly priced dishes are all tasty and served with a smile. You know your are in a good restaurant when people of all ages are there for the food. ENJOY!

Mama Lupe's is a very friendly neighborhood restaurant. We are always greeted with a smile. They have open seating, and serve flavorful Mexican food. I like the Shrimp quesadilla, as it is enough for a full meal, as are their burritos. Sometime I will order the meal (traditional two enchiladas, salad, beans and rice), and enjoy this also as they are never too spicy.

Visiting the fam around the corner and found this sweet little place. Very good food and super friendly employees. I got food to go and we each had something different from Chile Relleno to beef tacos to chicken enchiladas to pork something-or-other. All 4 of us were happy with our choices. Their sides of black beans and rice were killer! (they also have refried pinto beans if you prefer)

My wife and i went La Pinata San Leandro cause the one in Hayward is so small. Not very busy this early evening on a saturday. We got a booth and chips & salsa quickly. We ordered the platter as apetizer and 2 famoso burritos.Plus 2 delicious cocktails.Well, when our nice server brought the platter of 5 items... it was HUGE and can feed for people!!!So we decided to.go slowly on it leaving some room for our next dish. The famoso burrito is also enormous about 2 pounds tho.My wife just ate 1/3 of hers and i half.It was filled with your choice of meat, cheese, black beans, rice, pico de galo, sour cream and a very good guacamole. We both found our burrito very good but just too BIG mdr.We brought 4 containers back home haha.Overall, the staff is present and friendly. The food is very good. We'll come back for sure but ordering less!

My husband ordered the shrimp burrito and it was huge, not to mention tasted delicious. I ordered the small quesadilla because I wasnât very hungry and Iâm glad I got the small one because it was still almost more than I could eat. It too was excellent. This place is incredibly busy so that says a lot about the food. They have four different salsas to choose from-most were too hot for my taste but the regular salsa was great. We were just in town to fly out in the morning but I sure wish we had one of these near our house!
