We stopped in to grab lunch while in Sausalito. Right in the center of town. The food was very good and authentic. I had mole enchiladas, Tamales, and charred octopus while my wife had carne asada tacos. All the food was great and we enjoyed our visit.

Baja-style mexican with a California Twist! Enjoy outdoor casual dining right across from the water in beautiful Sausalito.
Found this lovely little taco place after a beautiful cycle along to Golden Gate Bridge to Salsalito. The homemade tortilla chips and dip were great and my fish tacos and accompaniments were delicious. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Located in a new strip mall, La Lupita is very new and clean looking with interesting wall art. The staff is very friendly and solicitous. However, the food was not very good. (Maybe because it was a Sunday evening.) When evaluating Mexican food, the "gold standard" for my wife and myself is carnitas. My wife ordered the carnitas tacos and I ordered the carnitas super burrito. Unfortunately, the carnitas were dry and tasteless. Interestingly, on the wall were taped pieces of paper and a white board with East Indian food items listed. Apparently, there is an East Indian connection to this restaurant, but we could not find out due to the language issue. We will not return.
Best lil taqueria in town... easy to walk too and call-ahead orders are very dependable. This is a good family-run business; very friendly and flirty. LOL My favorite burrito is the "shrimp burrito" with everything on it. It cost a lil more but the taste is worth it.
i've been coming to the La Flor de Jalisco truck for several years both when i was still working in the area and even now in retirement. they recently bumped up prices but, really, who hasn't. the truck is located at 21st and Macdonald Ave, in the parking lot of the La Flor de Jalisco market. there is a small parking lot and usually plenty of street parking. i personally enjoy their lengua tacos and super burritos as well as their cabeza tacos. love their salsa verde that i also use when i make guacamole. my family enjoys their pollo and asada burritos. i am sure, much like chinese restaurants, that people are gonna have their favorites when it comes to taco/burrito trucks but for me the LFJ truck is the one for me. they have tortas as well and plenty of soft drinks to choose from including agua frescas. they are accepting credit and debit cards though they charge you a transaction fee. i always go cash. there are metal benches and tables available to eat there.

EL SOL RESTAURANT was established in 1982; a partnership between Reynaldo Sr. and Beatrice Orozco and three of their children Reynaldo Jr., Yolanda and Armando. Today, EL SOL is owned and managed by Armando & Josephine Orozco. They strive for perfection a
Nice little cafe with more than the usual selection. Everything is basic and informal. The huevos rancheros were scrambled style and bland. They were out of nopalitos. The "carnitas with green chile and tomatillo" was spicy and flavorful. The chunky breakfast potatoes are "with chorizo" (sauce?) but there is no added flavor. The coffee is good, with cinnamon. Service was friendly, but lacking. A welcome addition to Point Richmond.
