I have no idea how You rate fast food in general but during our trip we have been in few other Taco Bells and the service and food was great. This specific location is probably managed by some overeager manager that tries to save few pennies on meat, lettuce and virtually every thing that should go into your Taco.Worst experience ever!

Emerge into a Mexican cantina and enjoy the splendor of flavors that await your pallet. Try the home made tortillas. The Chips and salsa down to the food and portions are wonderful and delicious. You won't be disappointed.
This is our go-to Mexican restaurant in Oakdale because it is always good, fresh food prepared right and served by friendly people. I had the beef chimichunga for the first time and it was delicious! My wife had the pita chicken quesadilla which was also excellent. The chips and salsa are good, the atmosphere is pleasant and overall, the best Mexican spot in Oakdale!

Stopped in here on our way back from Yosemite. There was a line up that moved pretty quickly. My mother and I split the quesadilla because the portions here are fairly large.Other people we were with had the Burrito and Fajita's and it both massive. There is a salsa bar with different options. Our meal for with 2 drinks was only $13.00. You cant beat those prices. Most meals are large enough for 2 people to share. Service is fast and the food was pretty good.
I love the name! This taqueria is at the west end of town and easy to get to. The location is not the fanciest, but the food, service, and prices are all compelling. This taqueria is at the top of the heap of taquerias in Oakdale.

After not going to El Jardin for a number of years we tried it again. We used to eat here regularly when we first moved to Oakdale. We had a bad meal and decided to go elsewhere. There are a number of different options in town for Mex food. We were pleased tonight. We ordered beers and two monsters came out. Would have been fine with a schooner. The prices have gone up since I last dined here. At least the food was good. Service was fine. We were the only people in the place at 7 pm on a Sunday night. May try it again. The look of the place is great. I always liked the brick interior. I don't know if this was a typical night or if Sundays are dead in Oakdale.

The food was good but it was just ok nothing special. I have been twice now to eat and service was decent. They do have a good size bar area.

Just had the senior chicken fried steak. It was done very well. The baked potato was perfect. The vegetables were a little overcooked, but most people would like them done that way.

First time Iâve been back in years and the interior is nicely updated. But the star is the food not the atmosphere! We had 3 enchiladas with different sauces â mole, green and red. The meats we chose were shredded chicken, Carnitas and Al Pastor. We chose corn tortillas for all three. The mole was very good but would have benefitted from some white onion slivers and sesame seeds but the flavor itself was very nice. Not my all time favorite here. The green sauce with carnitas was our favorite - Iâm guessing it was a mixture of a chile verde sauce with some sour cream mixed in â deliciously tangy with a little kick to it! The carnitas was outstanding! The red enchilada sauce was also quite good and the Al Pastor was very good too.Ask for the âhotâ sauce itâs homemade, flavorful and not a huge kick. The standard salsa they serve is tomatoey and maybe not homemade.
