I would give the food 4 stars but the service 2 stars. Went there with 6 friends. We were visiting and not in a hurry so the slow service was not a deal breaker for us, but another table got up and left. The shrimp, chicken, steak fajitas are great. Food overall is great, once they get the service issue worked out I will increase their overall rating.

I went through here on a business trip. The place was clean, the staff was attentive and friendly. My burritos were, well Taco Bell. I usually get the black bean burrito, fresco style. Some Taco Bells are better than others, this one was one of the better ones.
Very casual. Lots of food for the price. Small market connected to it. I think they do a better business with take out. The times we have been here, the take out flow is really steady. Its easy to drive by because it blends in on the outside. One of my students suggested we try it. Glad we did. It is close to our home and not on a busy highway. You have to go in to old town Los Banos but that should not stop you. If you are travelling I-5 take the 7 mile drive in to town. If you like Mexican food, you will like this place.
A little pricey but worth it. The best beans and rice I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant...beans had a little smokey with lard taste, loved them. Chile Verde was a little on the salty side, but the meat was very tender. My husband had the shrimp fajitas, and I could not believe the quantity of shrimp on it...very generous. Makes for a great stop on our way to San Jose.
My wide and I stopped by this hole in the wall mexican restaurant. My wife had a Chile Verde burrito and I had a supreme asada burrito both burritos had good flavor. The chips and salsa was good. The place inside was clean. This place also had good customer service. Friendly and quick.

The food is actually pretty good and the service is average or above. The portions are just pretty small for the price you pay. other Mexican places in Los Banos are better and give better value

It's a small "shack" on a corner and customers either eat outside or on the go. No inside service.
Walk up taqueria with some tables outside under the patio. A great value for your money. They have combo plates or single items. I had the carna asada taco plate with rice and beans. Came with 2 tacos, salsa and lemon wedges. Really good. Lots of locals were there. A goto place for me next time I'm in Banos.

That covers our server(Linda), food and Margaritas plus ambiance. First off, it felt so romantic with large windows abutting heavily foliaged trees, a softly flowing water fountain in the center of the restaurant, nice furnishings and soft lighting. The menu was also of high quality and had many offerings from about 8 pages. Linda was gorgeous to look at and so professional in guiding us through our selections. My Cadillac Margarita came in an exquisite glass (not those thick, cheap things), had a side shot of Grand Marnier and set the tone for what followed. (Another diner had a humongous Blood Orange Margarita which I envied.) My husbandâs Suiza Enchiladas were the best he has ever eaten and my tacos were also outstanding though I wish I had gone with grilled shrimp rather than fried calamari. If you like flan, GET IT no matter how stuffed you are!! Trust me on this. I figured it was $7 at least but it was only $3.99. The best ever.

Stopped for dinner. Quick service, great food, quiet atmosphere. Just a very good basic Mexican restaurant. Yes I would eat here again.
